I might be in the wrong spot (sorry if that is the case). Is anyone still using the notifier app on Andriod? for whatever reason, I cannot access, with an error saying server registration failed. has anyone heard from Ninthbit regarding this?

It suddenly started working for me. I got a notice 1m ago.

I just got about ten messages. Might be working again.

Now I can stop obsessively refreshing RPoL while at work :P

It is back up and running again, confirmed by the author of the app.

I suppose I should post this here too, for those that aren't a member of the game/forum for the app:

Sorry for the unexcusably long delay in getting this back up and running.  The server was a low priority if I'm honest.  I haven't played on RPoL for a long time now.  Also, it was summer, we had a family vacation and I got wrapped up playing Minecraft with my kids.  I just never got around to getting things back up.

It's back up now.  It's a band-aid solution to hold you all until I can properly rebuild my VPS.  If it doesn't just start working, then chances are you'll need to clear the app and re-setup.

Hey Ninthbit, how do we add games and stuff to the ignore list of your app? I just installed it and have only learned about it through this thread so you might have a thread dedicated to this, can you rmail me it so I can read up on it?

There are separate spots for public and private games to ignore.

You need to look at the game address and enter the GI number followed by a comma and no spaces.

Like so: 134,1,

If I recall the forum rules we can't post links to games here, but if you search in Wanted Players (bottom left has the search link) I'm sure you can find the "game" for the app.

As fmu78 stated, you use the Game ID (gi) number from the web address in your browser.

This app started as a cheap hack to make GMing my game easier.  I didn't know Java or Android development when I made it so it's a little rough around the edges.
