PC gamers: have there been any interesting games lately?

Out of curiosity: have there been any interesting PC games published in 2016 and 2017?

My last purchases were Tyranny, Tides of Numenera, Resident Evil 7 and Dishonoured 2. I like RPGs, strategies / sims and adventure games. Also shooters, if they happen to have a good plot.

Any recommendations?

I definitely recommend Cuphead if you haven’t taken an interest already.

Have you played UnderRail or Stardew Valley yet?  How about Divinity: Original Sin 2?  Witcher 3?  Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was more shooter than RPG.  There's also 7 Mages, but it's not for everyone.  XCOM 2 was pretty awesome.  Shadowrun: Hong Kong was pretty good, as was Banner Saga 2.

Pillars of Eternity II is coming out soonish, and Chris Avellone is working on an adaptation of the PF campaign Kingmaker.

Hm. Having made a quick research, I'd say this Original Sin 2 thing might be interesting. Could you tell me more about? For once, is it a self-contained game, or do I need to know what happened in some other game?

Speaking of RPGs, any good first-person RPGs out there? You know, games like Skyrim etc.?

Are there any good new games that would be more like adventure games of old? With investigating, puzzle-solving etc.? Also, any good strategies / sims?

No, Divinity is akin to the Elder Scrolls series in that playing earlier game may make later games more enjoyable (same world, some recurring characters), but DOS II stands on its own storywise.  The first DOS game is good, too.

The Witcher has a third person over the shoulder camera, but there's a mod (of course) to change the camera to first person.

For adventure games, did you ever play Broken Age?  It came out in 2014, but it's a great adventure game from Tim Schaefer, who also made Grim Fandango.

Deserts of kharak looks awesome, and seems to be at least on par with the previous homeworld games, and probably better, which means double awesome.

Fallout 4 with buckets of mods gives lots of personal RP options.

I saw Banner Saga 2 mentioned in the GPIA forum, and that would be a good game to check out, too.
