Just heard.  The actor who played Chewbacca passed on.
Peter Mayhew.

It always struck me as him being one fo the actors who actually enjoyed the story.

Harrison Ford hated Star Wars and I think Carrie Fischer was at best neutral about it. Mark Hamill basically quite acting because of it going over to voice work but Peter Mayhew was always active in the fan community.
