Can you Imagine

I was remembering the good old days, you old timers know them as the PRE 3.5 days.
and came up with a 'what kind of crazy' that would be moment.

Answer;  A 1st level 2nd edition where every player had to play a wild mage from 2 edition's Tomb of Magic.   With the surges and result charts that would be going off like 4th of July fireworks.

How about a cup of Nahal's Reckless Dweomer.. How about a Keg of that random fun time.
Anyone else have special wild mage experiences?

1. My first level wild mage was running around with a ranger with favored enemy vs minotaurs.  I'm not staying around for that kind of crazy...and the DM did the 'be smart or die' encounter with......a minotaur.  Well I can't abandon my partner, but I'm certainly not fighting that beast.  I climb a tree and watch the dumb ranger drop to the ground.  I cast..Nahal's never ending fun (the reckless dweomer) and a single little magic missile flies into the minotaur's face...BOOM...SURGE..BOOM...the beast turns to stone.   DM wouldn't normally allow such a thing, but we were in a wild magic zone so he let it fly.  My 1st level wild mage single handedly defeated a minotaur. :D

2. The God character Gladiators.  Well I personally don't like these games, so I made Henry the Helpless.  1st level wild mage.  When the fight started, I passed a note to the DM saying 'Henry is laying down on his back' everyone was pounding each other with mighty magic spells and weapons of THOR going after each other.. Once in a while one of the players would ask me 'Where is your character' I replied 'Laying on the ground, what do you expect from a first level mage?" their attention returned to the major fights as they laughed at poor Henry.

Finally the battle came down to two, both were in critical condition with just a blow away from total failure.  The Paladin swung his might blade and missed as the Fighter crushed the knightly figure with his hammer.  Well the Fighter was celebrating and gloating.  I passed a note to the DM "NAHAL'S RECKLESS DWEOMER' out of nowhere old Henry sat up and cast the fatal blow.  His only spell thus defeating the mighty warrior (magic missile/nahal's)   WIZARD WINS
