Is there any way for saving a thread?

Some of the games I was playing in flagged up for deletion, so I thought I would like to download some threads for the good memories... I had a vague recollection that I've seen something like this (although I might be wrong), I think it was connected to the thread size or similar, so only for threads with less than 1000 messages
I looked it for now and can't find it...
Is there any nice way to download them or just saving as a webpage?

Download, I'm pretty sure, is only an option for GMs.

What you can do as a player is make it so the thread is displaying All posts, then highlight it all and copy it, then paste it into a file.

As a player, if you're able to set a thread to display "All posts", you can also check if you have a way of printing/exporting the web page as a PDF.

I've used that option before and it works very well as it generally preserves all the formatting, etc.

Agree 100%, but for added measure, you can print screen and then see what's there in your screenshots. If that's not what you like, by all means, the advice above is much better. I almost exclusively GM, and trust me, the download option isn't much better (or...it wasn't...) than what you can do as a player. If you can  stand the monotony, I really do recommend the screen shot as well as pdf print. I had to get Abode subscription to get the benefit I wanted, and it saved me a lot of time, but maybe I just did it dniheb backward.

What I can say with absolutely certainty, whatever time it takes (with your preferred method!), justify it by the memories you have of the game. :| Sad to say goodbye, but this way you'll have a memory to look at. :/...;)...:)....:/...:| *sigh* dead but not forgotten
