There once was a limerick named Lim,
who tired of being so prim,
so he double entendre'd, (pronounce to rhyme with the next line)
somethin' 'bout an old maid,
and found himself singing a hymn?

So that last one was really quite poor,
And in writing I felt -- well -- voyeur.
No more like the last,
Entendre lambast,
In this one I feel the grandeur.

There once was a man named Bart
Who saw limericks as an Art
He tried to forced a koala
Who didn't really wanna
Make any rhymes from the start

The koala, the four legged. bartending, FourLegged
Who wanted to post without rhyming, instead
He stole off Bart's crown,
'thout posting cool down,
And nicely he wrote out a lim'rick 'fore bed

My wallet is made of brown leather.
It helps all my cash hang together.
But the pockets permit
no Visa's to fit...
Consign it to regions of nether?

I return after quite a long time
To see if I am still able rhyme
I am doing quite well
As far as I can tell
Though some say I should be a mime

The ring, it's come back, it's Coriva.
So much that we've missed, it's like I've, uh...
Three years since the day,
Since we last typed away,
Will he take the crown, the grand pooh-bah?

Yes, those rhyme if you pronounce the words the same way that I pronounce them. :p

who often sneaked to the shores
Shy with eyes so wide

I have a new feeling... sublime.
A nice little change,
Quid pro quo to exchange,
This might affect my response time.

I remember Bart really liking this game but Limericks are a lot of work.

A little creativity
Is only a bit off key
A pinch of this
and a dash of that
And a reborn thread you'll see

This is what I hunger for
A limerick brought fresh to my door

Those really aren't good limericks, right?
The last line doesn't even have a bite.
The next two lines are just too long,
It's really rather all quite wrong.
I guess I sort of have stage fright?

I don't want to write a line
That's only point is to rhyme
But with salt in a dash
And making a splash
My Limerick turned out just fine.

I made this:

For x squared, a minus x, twelve
For solve it, some math we will delve.
For we'll factor the roots
For its attributes.
Four; minus three; file on the shelve.

That was more difficult than I'd anticipated.  Also, it's only a visual rhyme.

This is math I never have seen
With poetry hidden between
But with pencil in hand
An equation so grand
More than just two x plus nineteen

If a poem is compared to a fam'lee
Relationship, which, should a rhyme be?
Whether daughter or son
Or any loved one
Or are poems more of sex-three-ality?

Yet Poems are more clever than that
They are more like tricks from a hat
They catch you off guard
To cry or laugh hard
Written standing or sat.

There once was an all star named shrek
Who lived in swamps, and never got wrecked
He married a princess
this was not incest
they slept clothed but shrek got erect

I'm Conan the great and bold,
and I search the dungeons for gold
sometimes however
it's monsters wherever
I'm worried I'll never grow old
