What if you owned a what if machine from Futurama?

I would ask it asinine questions to see if crazy things would work...

I would ask crazy hypothetical like, "What if the world was gripped in a pandemic and the solution was for the majority of the world's population to stay home and do nothing."

What if you could create a new element of your choice?

I'd call it Frogmatter, because it would stand out and people would look it up and then they'd learn about me and my ego would grow and I would feel good.

I guess in that vein, I could call it "Hydrogen Two Electric Boogaloo" or "Anime Funny Moments" because both of those things would also ruin a periodic table.

What if you could create a new element of your choice?

I would name it after it's atomic number minus one, so I could make it just a little harder for chemistry majors to memorize the periodic table.

For example, if the atomic number was 256, I would call it bipentpentium, instead of bipenthexium. If I ever got to give it a more permanent name (like how ununoctium became oganesson), I'd call it Element Two Fifty Five, because it would just be awful.

Icantrememberium: Don't know its properties, not sure where it would go on the periodic table and its atomic number is... wait, wait, I know this one. Also don't know the weight

What if you discovered a new element?

Being a longtime D&D player, I would call it Aleeval. Then I would build a religious structure and keep a sample of it on the altar. I would call it the Temple of Element Aleeval (Elemental Evil)...

Re: What if you knew you'd live to be 100?

If I knew I would live to be 100, I would jump off a 30 story building (or any other must-kill method) to see what would happen. Either a paradox would shatter reality, or I would end up as a spirit/ghost or disembodied consciousness for the remaining decades.

Either way would be way cooler than being a regular old person

I'd visit Fruggychum while he lies in a comatose state after his "accidental" fall of that 30 story building. The doctors say that he is 'technically' alive, but will never wake up.
