I would first determine whether they were friendly or hostile - if friendly, I would be their best friend, but if hostile? Time to bring out the shotgun disintegration ray blasters.

We can't be aliens - the aliens are not aliens to themselves. We already simultaneously are and are not aliens.

What if you had a million dollars?

I would spend the first 100000 on an aviary, put 300000 into savings, 300000 into a house and car, 100000 to charity, and the last 200000 to family.

I would probably use 50,00 for my son to have a college bank account then use the other half to move my family into another state.

The other half? That's only 10,000... where are you hiding the other 990,000? Come on, cough it up!

I would likely spend it on people...   people without foods, or clothing.  While I do like to be well off myself, the most I would do is perhaps set up a camping situation where I could fish, or forage, and than give the rest to real people in need in ways that would really help them.  I.E.  Teach the man to fish, not throw them a bone, and pray they leave you alone.

What if you had a million cats?

That million dollars would feed them for about a week, but I can't imagine the stench.

I'd use the million dollars to create a mansion, every floor on it's three stories would be glass with massive tunnels and mazes for the cats to play about.  Ceiling crawl spaces, and many many self cleaning systems and kitty doors for quick escape upon getting 'lost'  A massive 'kitty hotel mansion' so to speak...

oh, a hotel of such a scale would only really cost around 500k, I'd use the rest of the money to fund it for a while, but then I'd just use my 175k yearly pension to fund it, not to mention it's a hotel, it'd pay for itself.

Not a horrible idea

Pay off the house.  Rent it out.  Buy another and move in.  Carry on life as usual.
