Alphabet Conversation XXVI

Converse by starting a sentence with the next letter of the alphabet.

For instance, someone says, "Just think about the possibilities!"

You say, "Kinda scary isn't it."

The next person says, "Lots of things scare me."

... and so on...

Kagura wrote:

'kay... I don't actually get upset when the conversation is sane and reasoned. It's only when people can't even present facts to back up their arguments (or insist that their view is the only possible correct one due to facts that they present and won't consider other peoples' facts) that I get upset...

Yes. That is the season we call "road construction". Because our roads always need construction (due in no small part due to the harsh winters), and they can't do road construction during the winters or spring. Winters because they're too cold, and spring because it rains too much.

Rather strange how similar they can taste.  I was adding garlic and onion to macaroni back in the day and I thought I'd lessen the taste of onions by reducing them and adding more garlic.  I continued doing that until finally I was adding plenty of powdered garlic and absolutely no onions and was forced to conclude that either they tasted very similar, or the taste that I'd been associating with the onions was actually from the garlic.

Unless, of course, they're fresh, onions and garlic can taste quite similar. Of course, fresh onions and garlic are quite different. Also, side note, did you know that if your nose was entirely nonexistent, then fresh apples and onions would be indistinguishable? Actually, now that I mention them, I'm craving cinnamon apples n' onions... mmmmm :3

Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

What does it mean?  Apparently it's from the Ancient Greek ξηρός (ksērós, “dry”).  It's an adjective and it's comparative is more xeric, while its superlative is most xeric.

Said of an environment or habitat that is extremely dry, lacking humidity and water.
Said of an organism adapted to live in a very dry habitat.

I myself have only minimal interest at this point in time, although it was not always so (I still hold a top 10 position for most posts in a week - over 1000, and have a respectable number of Royalty claims), just other things, including Real Life, have drained my energy and enthusiasm for this forum to a much lower level of activity.

Understandable in most circumstances, however regardless of my actual gender, I'm choosing to present female on this forum - female name, female avatar, etc. which generally means that female pronouns are appropriate.

And for the record - I'm a girl.

Xanthamide is toxic to water life at a really small concentration -- less than one milligram per liter.  I suspect she's off trying to figure out how to get rid of Aquaman before he finishes his new movie in 2018.

Zounds!  Aquaman is a hero!  Vixcis is a villain.  Seems like they'd cross paths every now and again.  Aquaman lives/works in water.  Something that can be carried by water and is lethal to things that live in the water seems like it'd be right up her alley.  Maybe I don't fully understand the question -- what two things didn't seem like they went together?

Aquaman and the fun facts about xanthamide. Honestly though, Vixcis would be more likely to attempt to recruit Aquaman into her harem (I mean, have you lseen the pictures of Jason Momoa in the Aquaman costume?) than to attempt to assassinate him with a chemical that doesn't even have a Wikipedia page?
