"I actually think I would be of more use going to Fest."  Fiarr said to Devon.  "My skills are more focused around getting into places unseen.  I imagine there would be more for me to do on an Imperial world then some trader station or backwater planet."

Mika didn't have much to do, since she was staying on the Ghtroc.  First chance she got once they left, she'd deploy the name change to the transponders she'd prepared, using Sheila's suggestion of Lunar Flare.

"I'm good as is, ready to move ahead."

"Transfer if you you think you'd be better off on Fest, Fiarr."  Devon answered.

"I'm lookin' to you guys to go make best use of your skills - those assignments were just my best guess.  You think you're more use some place else - say so an' do it.  Now, lets get these barges docked  an' transfer."

In response to Devons comments, Catch uploaded an edit to the organizational chart, adding question marks next to Heigren and Fiarrs names.

OOC:  ever had a day when you just cant seem to get a good post together?  <sigh>

Sheila almost snorted at the tone of 'OMG, I'm sooo bored, but i got myself into this' tone in Heigrens voice, but she controlled herself.  "I'll be over shortly."  You would think Heigren would have enjoyed being the only male on a ship with 2 females.

Re: Act 7.1: Corellian Sector

The two ships connect up in space and the teams quickly reassign themselves.  It takes less than ten minutes before the necessary transfers are made and the Ghtroc takes off into hyperspace.

Alert: Nebula Drifter Team (Devon, Dohr, Kyvarr)

It takes less than a day for the Nebula Drifter to approach the Manticore Trading Station on the edge of the Fedje system.  The station is unremarkable as far as trading stations go.  As the divergent point between two hyperspace lanes it received a modest amount of traffic for merchants who needed to refuel, update charts or just get off their ships for a few hours.  Little actual trade was done here as the Fedje system was lightly populated and not heavily industrialised.

It didn't take long for Devon to receive landing permission for their ship and before long they were nestled in a small hangar, fees paid and customs cleared.  Since they weren't loading or offloading cargo, the inspectors never even bothered coming aboard.

OOC:  Well you're onboard.  It's a small space station with a few stores, a bar, a repair facility and such.

Alert: Ghtroc 720 Team (Mika, Sheila, Heigren, Fiarr, Catch)

While people sorted out which ship they were travelling on, Mika remained in the cockpit, setting up the run to Fest.  While further away than Fedje, Fest was a well travelled system due to it's strong Imperial presence.  This resulted in a route that only took a few hours longer than the other ship's trip to Fedje.

As soon as she pulled the ship out of hyperspace in the Fedje system, proximity beacons flashed and moments after a firm voice came over the speaker.

"Vessel GHT-72087654-Alpha, state your business."

OOC:  Up to you all where on the ship you are (as the trip took a few hours).  I assumed Mika was flying still but the rest of you can be on the bridge or elsewhere.

Heigren had no real interest in learning to fly and so avoided the cockpit unless bringing the pilot a favourite drink or snack whilst they took care of the ship.  The rest of the time he devoted to cooking, or whatever generally enjoyable activity he could find cooped up on a small ship with three women.

Fiarr sat in one of the back seats in the cockpit.  Seeing that nobody else was answering the Imperial she decided she better had before they got. . .cranky.

"This is vessel GHT-72087654-Alpha, we are bound to Fest from Corellia.  Transmitting flight plan and manifest."

She transmitted the data, they were actually on a legitimate run today.  Once sent she turned to Mika and Sheila (if they were there).

"One of you will need to do the talking on the ground.  Imperials don't usually like to sully their hands with 'aliens'."

Kyvarr sat in the cockpit but let someone else fly.  Once they were touched down she assisted with the power down procedures before turning to Devon.

"What are your orders sir?"  She really wasn't sure what their goal was here.  In her mind, the logical target had been Fest, not this station.  Still, she was the first to admit intel gathering wasn't her strong point.  She was a soldier, not a strategist.

Re: Act 7.1: Corellian Sector

The day’s trip to Fedje proved to be quite uneventful as there didn’t seem to be much going on in the system. Unlike the original plan, there were now only three of them on the Drifter: Devon, Kyvarr and Dohr himself. He was perfectly fine with that, but he was slightly worried about the rest of the team heading of without him. He knew they had Sheila to patch them up in case something went wrong and he trusted her to be able to handle it… she had so far. But he felt surprisingly nervous about the situation nevertheless.

As the docking was completed, Dohr headed to the cockpit to have a chat with the others. ”So, I guess we will head to the restaurants and have a look around? Perhaps we can learn a rumour or two more about what is going.”

Heigren considered.  "Depends on who we find down there.  After all not every Imperial is a hardcore xenophobe.  A lot of them are just hard working men and women.  Of course, the true zealots, they're as sexist as they are pro-human.  We get one of those they'll treat you two as badly as they will me.  Guess we need to see what we come up against."

Kyvarr turned her attention to Dohr.  "I guess at the least we can get a decent meal.  Too bad we didn't bring Heigren along.  His meals were, inventive."

She heads for the nearest restaurant with Dohr unless Devon has orders for them.

During the flight, Mika had spent her time in the cockpit.  When Heigren stopped by with refreshments, she'd give him a smile.  "Hey, thanks." she'd say, obviously meaning it.

Mika shrugs at the query.  "I can do it, but I'd just as soon let one of you guys handle it.  I'm just the one who flies the boat."

Re: Act 7.1: Corellian Sector

Any orders? thought Devon Yeah, stop calling me 'Sir'
Finishing the power-down procedures - and his not-so-cunningly-hidden attempts to teach Kyvarr how to fly - Devon turned his seat round to look at his 'co-pilot' and only passenger for this flight.

"Yeah, he's a good cook - but I figured we needed him more on Fest... guys got a talent for diggin' up the dirt.  In the meantime; Kyvarr - I think Doc just offered to buy us lunch."  He stood up and stretched, wincing as too many hours in the pilots seat made themselves felt, again.

"Gimmie a few minutes to crunch some data an' we'll go see what the local food is like."

Turning back to the flight computer, Devon tapped a series of commands in, waited whilst the flight computer dumped the results to his datapad, then passcode-locked and closed the system down.

"Awright, who's hungry?"

Re: Act 7.1: Corellian Sector

Alert: Nebula Drifter Team (Devon, Dohr, Kyvarr)

Devon and his team quickly lock up the Nebula Drifter and head out to find food.  It doesn't take them long to end up at the Golden Springblossom Eatery.  Aside of its advertisements for cold beer and fresh home cooking, it had the unique privilege of being the sole proprietor of food on the station bar some basic snacks in the cantina!

The trio found a quiet table, the restaurant was less than a quarter full and quickly made menu choices.  The food was simple fare but true to its word, the plates were loaded with fresh vegetables.  The server explained that fresh produce was not something the Fedje system lacked for.  The group tucked in as Devon flicked over his notes.

OOC: Being an Imperial world, weapons are banned but security isn't super tight.  You might be able to get concealed weapons past security if you want.  It would be a sleight of hand (to conceal) or repair (to fool sensors) roll whichever is higher.  Someone else on your team can make the roll if you wish.  I assume you are unarmed unless you specifically choose to be otherwise

Alert: Ghtroc 720 Team (Mika, Sheila, Heigren, Fiarr, Catch)

The team of the Ghtroc were still discussing who should be their spokesperson when the group landed.  Fortunately it proved to be largely redundant.  As soon as the ship landed and the ramps lowered, a self-important looking man who reaked beaurecrat, came up the ramp reading a datapad, four stormtroopers following him.

"Ship GHT-72087654-Alpha, you are carrying cargo assignment TX4564 out of Corellia, 100 tonnes of Phrikite ore."  He spoke as if this was a statement, not a question.

Someone muttered an affirmative which the man seemed not to hear, instead he was busy using some sort of sensor device on the cargo pods.  He ignored all questions aimed at him and the stormtroopers kept anyone from interfering.

Finally he nodded.  "Cargo matched.  Sign here."  He thrust a datapad in the general direction of the trio.  He didn't seem to know or care who signed it.  Once the mark is made he hands a credit chip to whomever signed, turns and walks out, the troopers remain.

As he walks out a pair of binary load lifters moves in and begins offloading.  The stormtroopers force everyone back to the edge of the cargo bay while the droids work.  They move smoothly, lifting the boxes with precision and skill and empty the cargo hold in less than fifteen minutes.  Then the stormtroopers turn in precision and march off the ship.  The bewildered Talons notice them troopers getting into a command speeder that is escorting a fully laden cargo speeder, weighted down with the ore.

OOC:  I've made the assumption you didn't want to cause a scene with four stormtroopers holding blaster rifles in an Imperial spaceport on a heavily monitored Imperial spaceport.  Correct me if I'm wrong!

Your cargo is offloaded and one of you has the credstick (I'll assume Heigren unless anyone dashed forward).  Your landing permit gives you 2 days on planet to refuel/repair/find another contract, etc.

Please note that unlike Fedje, this is a heavily regulated Imperial world.  Getting weapons past customs won't be easy so unless you specifically tell me you're trying to carry a weapon I assume each of you is unarmed.  Like with Fedje you can make a roll (I'd recommend Fiarr for sleight of hand or Mika for repair) but the DC's will be higher.

Kyvarr made no effort to take a weapon of any kind.  Her modified blaster and other light weapons remained in her cabin while Nijel and her explosives was locked securely in the armoury.  She ate quietly, waiting for Devon to let them in on his plan.  He was busy reading something which she could only assume were planning notes.

Fiarr watched the procession of the Imperial unloading of cargo with bemusement.  When they had left she closed the cargo hatch then turned to the others.  "Gotta hand it to the Imperials.  They can be damned efficient when they want to be.  So any specific plans or areas of interest or just want me to find what I can?"

Heigren nodded at Fiarr's comments.  "I can do my own questioning if you like, but like Fiarr, need to know what sort of questions I'm asking.  I can probably link up with any local underground or resistance movements.  Had a lot of experience working with them on Phindar Prime.  Or did you guys have something else in mind?"

Mika was happy to be a passive observer in the interactions with the Imperials and the unloading process.  Once they're gone, she chuckles.  "And here we were, all worried over who should talk with them and all.

Once they leave, she compares notes with the other two.  <blue>"You got me.  We're supposed to nose around, see what we can find.  I'll work on getting the ship serviced and ready.  After that, I'm thinking I can work the docks, talk to the locals, see if anything turns up, unless any of you got something better for me."

"Well you're a mechanic and you're human.  I guess you're the best one to chat with any dockworkers, see if there is any scuttlebutt about Vader coming through here.  If his fleet stopped here, even though it would be at a military base not here, I'm sure the dockworkers would have heard."

Fiarr looked intently at Mika.  "But be careful.  Last thing we need is for anyone to think your hunting for information.  If any of us gets caught our prospects are poor.  Better to be too vague and learn nothing then press too hard."

"Heigren, if you manage to contact any resistance groups, ask if they know where political prisoners end up."
'If they don't outright shoot them' she thought to herself.  "Better yet, if they have any contacts inside, maybe they'll know if Mark or Zyra are here."

"Sheila, if you plan to slice the computers, for goodness sake don't do it from the spaceport and don't get caught.  Just remember everyone, that Imperial Intelligence can sometimes be just as efficient as that unloading crew!"</green>

Fiarr looked around.  Nobody had put her in charge, in fact Devon hadn't put anyone in charge.  Still she felt that she should offer her thoughts and people could accept or reject them as they chose.

Herself, she had a different avenue to follow.  It might not be directly related to their mission, but it had sparked her curiosity nonetheless.  Worse off, she needed to go now, lest the trail get cold.

"I have something to do.  I'll keep my comms open whenever I can."

Forgoing any weaponry, the Bothan lowered the ramp and headed out.

"No problem.  I figured I'd wander around first, then see what I can do, if anything.  Keep in touch.  Mika, from the sound of it, you'll be round here, so there will be someone in the vicinity of the ship. That's good."  Sheila was all too aware of the efficiency of imperial intelligence.  She found a map, a regular street map that someone new to town would get, up on her pad and headed out, also leaving her weapons on the ship.  Might as well look like she's shopping..

With a plan settled on the group seperated and went their own seperate ways.

OOC:  Since you're all seperate I've sent you PM's for now.

Location: Fedje

The restaurant was quiet as Kyvarr waited for a plan but Dohr and Devon seemed more interested in their food.  Admittedly the food was good.

OOC:  Only Kyvarr has posted so can't do very much here!
