Wait two weeks to play

Hi what's this 2 week wait for "adult"-rated games about? There are few that are not adult. Either check our ages or don't what's two weeks got to do with anything ?(besides making users lose interest)

Wait two weeks to play

One of the reasons for the limit is so that people who are denied adult access have less reason to go open up a new account in an attempt to get around it.

Another reason is that two weeks to get to know the site and the adult rules helps to avoid problems.

Quickly skimming through, it looks as if at least 50% of the active games currently being advertised are not Adult.

In reply to bigbadron (msg # 3):

I'm fairly new to RPoL, but it looks like games get a Mature or Adult rating simply so that the Gm doesn't get in trouble from an occasional swearword sneaking out or someone mentioning a random body part. A game having a Mature or Adult rating doesn't necessarily mean it has a significant amount of Mature or Adult content, it could just be the GM playing it safe.

That seems like a problem with the GM, not the site rules, doesn't it?

That is literally the reason my Werewolf the Apocalypse game is adult, when I know it can be done as mature. I want my players to feel like they can rp as they want and not worry about someone getting mad and trying to get us in trouble.

I don't consider it a problem. And I didn't mean to imply that there's a problem with the site rules.
