"Nthretha, I think you would prove a challenging and interesting opponent for me.  If you are concerned that your presence in the fray might tip the scales too heavily in favor of Lilianne or Tomas, perhaps we should split off into our own fight..."

That sounds more interesting, I'm likely to get slaughtered by those two.

Nthretha, I said you and Thomas should team up against me. But it seems you are no longer interested, very well then.

Yep, I kinda suspected that it would end up with either me biting it the first round, or you getting crushed, neither of which I find amazingly fun.

I don't see me doing enough damage to a warlock of your level in one attack to drop you. After all, I'm not an enchanter or evoker. But let's not bother with that.

Syntari, translucent now that his body is elsewhere, raises a placatory hand toward Lilianne.  "Apologies for breaking into an intended match - I thought you and Tomas would be decently matched without Nthretha.  Perhaps, if Nthretha is willing, she and I could face off against you later?  Nthretha's limitless warlock abilities would be a decent counter to your endless friends, where an arcanist like myself would soon be exhausted."

Still looking for a match: No invisibility, no fireballs, no sleep...

"No invisibility?  No flying away?" Ceithern replied as he came walking back from the arenas, unhurt apart from a single stab to his gut by a simple knife.

If I give away my best defence, you should give away grappling.

"Heh, agreed," Ceithern replied with a nod.  He had wrestled a great serpent of Elemental Ice, and proven himself the stronger - there was simply no honor to be had wrestling an elven mage, and a woman at that.  "Where shall we do battle, then?" the barbarian asked, and glanced over at the maps of the available arenas.

Definetly NOT close quarters.

"All right - how about the Range, then?" Ceithern replied, and pointed towards the map of the Archery Range with the tip of his sword.

OK, I'm quite sure I'll lose that fight but lets go for it.

Ceithern nodded in agreement, and walked quickly off towards the arena, ready to do battle in the name of Tempus yet again.

OOC:  I've got to make dinner now, will probably be on again in an hour or two at most.  If you'd like, feel free to set up the fight, and if not, I'll do it when I've eaten.  :-)

An image of the half-drow rogue suddenly appears near the bar, a wide grin covering his face. A round of drinks to everyone, I just scored my first ever critical hit in the ROA! It only took a year and a half... Quinlan laughs a little at the thought before disappearing.

Entering the bar wearing her doe-skin bathing suit she is drying the last bit of water from her body as she start to don her armor once more.  Accepting the free drink she raises it in thanks to the dark skined man.  Lifting her arm was a bit of a task as the pain was still subsiding from the last combat.  She gave it her all, but still the lack of hand to hand skill was her downfall.

Well Defeat is a bitter taste thats for sure, good fight Gildor, perhaps another day I will win the fight.

Gildor saunters up to the bar and takes a quick swig, of his ale. He nods to Bethany and gives her a smile.
