Tristram, uncoiling the chain just in time to lash out again as Elidin moved in close. The dragon shaman avoided it narrowly.

Elidin managed to dodge the first strike with the chain but found himself hitting the ground when the chain wrapped around his leg a second time(STR check: 9). Finding himself at a distinct disadvantage the dragon shaman activated the small magical anklet he wore within his boot. The space around Elidin folded around him and he blinked out of sight then blinked back in 10 feet away. Once the item did it's work he stood back up again, the smirk that was on his face earlier no where in sight.

By Torm, that was an unexpected trick! Tristram exclaims, then move just close enough to lash out with his chain. Elidin proves to be an elusive target however, and easily dodges the sweep.

Once more Tristram misses his target. This time apologizing for his inability to strike. I'm feel the need to excuse myself for this farce of a fight. I should be more accurate than this.

I hate it when I'm right... Tristram winces as he barely dodges the worst of the cold. Still, the frost felt like it ate the flesh off his bones. Swinging the chain once more he manages to tear into the shaman.

Tristram swung the chain around as Elidin moved in close, but missed by a mile, or so it seemed. As the odd weapon came around though he brought in straight down, letting the chain crash into the shaman heavily. He then took a step up, putting some distance between him and the shaman.

This time Tristram was ready when Elidin moved forward, letting the chain rip into the flesh of the advancing dragon shaman. Ducking the sword he follows up with another sweeping blow that Elidin deftly parries. Tristram once more steps out of range of the heavy sword.
