Re: Olivia vs Orophear

It felt good to be back in the arena, Olivia thought. Just you and your opponent, locked in combat, nothing else to worry about but the approval of the crowd. She stretched and flexed her muscles, both warming up and displaying her strength to the unseen spectators. She'd almost worn her old chainmail bikini too, to better display herself, but her opponent was strong, and she'd need all the protection she could get.

Putting on her helm, readying her shield and spear, she was ready. Blues eyes peering from within the slit of the helm, peering over the shield, glaring at Orophear across the arena, she began banging her spear against her shield. Bang! Bang! Bang! She had nothing else to add but the intimidation.

Re: Olivia vs Orophear

Orphear stood across the arena from Olivia, eying his opponent. They just recently met in Waterdeep and she had proven herself to be a civilized creature even though she was of orcish heritage. The elf did wonder of her fighting prowess and looked forward to gauging her abilities. The Duskblade reached into one of the many small pouches on his belt and produced a small ball of dung, muttered a few words and watched as the dung ignited in a small flash. As the pungent vapors were breathed in the elf could feel his muscles begin to bulge ever so slightly, the magical strength seeping into his being. After the spell took effect the elf unslung his bow, drew out an arrow and began to bounce excitedly from one foot to the other.

Re: Olivia vs Orophear

As the loud gong sounded signifying the start of the match Orophear took off running, heading towards the edge of the water, his bow in hand.

Re: Olivia vs Orophear

As the battle commenced, Olivia marched out from behind the starting block, in a crouching, combat-ready pose, huddled behind her shield and hunching her head low, leaving little bare skin for the archer to strike. It left her moving slow, but she was ready to dodge or resist until she could close the range.
