The Barbazu stalks angrily out into the area marked 'B', glaring up at the crowds, hissing at them in Infernal - doubtfully meaning to say something nice or friendly. . .

Two rounds to prepare, Jyslyn, then combat starts.  The Barbazu goes on initiative count 22 - if you can beat that, go ahead and take your first regular round's actions as well as the prep rounds.

With fire in her strangely violet eyes and her huge sword held loosely in hand, Jyslyn walked to the mark that indicated her starting position.  Though normally nothing like most drow, Jyslyn rather hoped she would deal death to the barbazu and that it would not be magically revived after the battle.

Slowly, the infernal fiend stalked into the arena, barely able to wait for Jyslyn to come at it and attack. . .

As it rounds the central pillar, the Barbazu spies Jyslyn, and using it's horrible glaive, it stabs at her - but the tip of the weapon is batted aside just before it can connect with Jyslyn, as if an unseen force was present to stop it. . .

Screaming with fury and vengeance, the Barbazu slashed twice at Jyslyn, but each time the drow was able to evade his attacks, the potion imbibed moments before having helped her quite a bit.
