OOC: No longer encumbered.  That ended in round 11.  The problem I have with hitting is I have a -2 to hit while fighting defensively.  Couple that with the -4 from the enfeeble and I only have a +2 for one attack, +0 if I try both weapons.  Speaking of, what is the Duration of enfeebling ray?  As 10 rounds = 1 minute, I was curious if/when it would be ending.

Renaldi allows his opponent to gain a little ground... he needed a little breathing room.  He activated his belt again, and then pursues his target.  While he doesn't attack he maintains a defensive posture.

Quinlan once more tumbles out of range, but this time seeing that his opponent is adopting a defensive stance attempts to bypass his defences using magic. Calling forth once more a ray of frost, but this time without invoking the entangling effect from his magical bracers, Quinlan attempts to end the fight. His aim is horrible though and all he manages is cause a slight frostburn to one of the pillars.

The burst of light causes him to blink fiercly, clearing most of the flashing, but not all of it.  The lights caused his vision to dance in front of him, which certainly didn't help, but he wasn't about to give up on his pursuit, even if he didn't manage to hit anything.

Very well fought: even though I'm 2 levels ahead I had to exhaust all spells and rely on tumble and ranged attacks. One more full attack from you and I would have dropped.

I am considering Strength potions, to counter any loss.  It would have helped me out a little here.  The boots are a good idea, as well as a few points in Jump for synergy.
