OOC: The way I understood it. Once per round for 6 rounds. I can use it up to six times, but lose out if I choose not to on any given round.

Levis simply couldn't react in time to the situation at hand, and took a nasty blow from Zar'Da's mace. She retreated quickly to the top of a pillar, but it was still within striking distance of the drowkin. She looked down at him, and blackness covered her hand, right before shooting forth an arrow of darkness.

Zar'Da smiled at the young woman's cunning and trickery in the arena. She was indeed a worthy and slippery foe. The drowkin was not without his tricks also. Stepping back to get a bit better sight line to the woman Zar'da opened his mouth, his tongue lifting and shot forth a line of fetid greenish liquid that sizzled when it hit something.

Levis saw the blast of acid, and surprisingly managed to avoid the worst of it, only taking minor burns from it. She now had an opportunity to go all in, and she was going to do exactly that. With a few gestures made by both her, and her shadow, her eyes soon went completely black. She looked down at the drowkin with that terrible gaze, and unleashed a blast of pitch darkness.

Zar'Da recognized the gestures the young woman made and steeled himself against the soul cutting magics to hit, and hit they did.

Zar'da reeled from the spells damage and stumbled backwards, keeping just enough of his wits about him to change the aura that whirled around him from a blood red to a blueish hue. The Shaman took off and ducked around one of the far pillars hoping to put a little distance between himself and Levis.

Levis wasn't about to risk putting herself directly in harms way again, but she was restricted from her vantage point. She could only hope that the drowkin would have to come out of hiding. Her body blinked out of existence, and at the same moment, reappeared on a nearby pillar. Once there, she called on darkness to shroud herself.

Zar'Da decided it was time to try and play a game of cat and mouse, if possible. Making his way around the pillars trying to put some distance between he and Levis the Shaman let his aura do it's work.

Levis wasn't about to let him get away with his retreat, and knew she had to take a risk. She was at a disadvantage on the ground, but she didn't really have too many options. His advantage in cover was more than she could deal with on the pillars.
She flicked down to the ground, and trotted around a pillar to fire an bolt of darkness at the Shaman.

 [Standard] Arrow of Dusk. Attack - 18, Damage - 5 NL. (41 passes Darkness concealment)

Zar'da took the shadowy bolt once again and back pedaled out of the darkened area, his healing aura already taking care of some of the bolt's damage. As soon as the drowkin once again ducked around one of the pillars he activated one of his greater gifts, a flood of warmth flowing through his very soul healing some of the damage he had taken to this point.

She stared forth and shot the blast of shadows forth, putting her all into it, hoping the finish the fight.

Meh, in these matches my characters always seem to be backpedaling so it's hard to always find the right place to be. Good match.
