Adamar sauntered into the arena, a loud cheer issuing from...well from an invisible crowd. The elf began to limber up and then drew two daggers with lightening speed. Adamar spins his daggers in a complicated routine and then points to Levis with a wink and a smile.

Levis walked into the arena, far less sure of herself than Adamar. She saw his quick routine with his daggers, and didn't really have anything to offer in return. She just went about her preparation for the fight to start. Shadows swirled around her, and a suit of armor with a shield formed over her person, then in the next moment, more shadows began to writhe about her person, almost appearing solid.

The second the signal gong sounded Adamar launched into spell casting, his daggers tracing arcane sigils in the air as the elf spoke a few words ending in his daggers pointing in Levis' direction. To onlookers it seemed as if the color drained from the elf, literally, leaving nothing but a dull black and white copy as his color flowed down his arms like wet paint down a wall. The color gathered in his outstretched hands and then shot forth in a blinding rainbow beam that streaked across the arena at the Shadow Mage. As the beam fired away those watching saw a large grin plastered across the elf's face as he faded from view.
