Re: The OOC thread

It will be hard for us non-spellcasting types to win against the spellcasters...
Especially since these rules favor them.  :)

Precast buffs (preperations) and 2 extra rds to buff...while we sit and wait.  :)

Re: The OOC thread

Yeah, prep rounds?  What are you talking about?

And, of course, you don't have to accept challenges from spell-casting times if you don't want to.  :)

Re: The OOC thread

Oh, there are prep rounds here!

Arena Rules:
Preperations
Any spell with a duration greater than 8 hours can be pre-cast (and you can rest afterwards to get the spell slot back). You don't know who your opponent will be that far in advance however, so you must list this type of precast on your character sheet.
Before the fight starts, each combatant has two full rounds during which they can make no offensive actions of *any* kind. This includes things like spells that target your opponent (of any kind) or collapsing the roof on him or anything, but not things like activating rage, casting spells with yourself as a target, summoning monsters etc.

Re: The OOC thread

Was that more recently added?  I don't remember reading that at all.  I don't think I like those rules!  :P

Re: The OOC thread

Supposedly I have some of the fastest speeds you can get, but then we also live in a small town where service isn't always that great.  Still it's a lot faster than dial-up. :P

Forgive me, please, oh mighty one.  :)
