NPC Thread

NPCs are characters who are not used often. For instance, the seabear from Chapter 1. So I am posting this up because it's handy to look here instead of sifting through old chapters to find the name of a character or what they did. To reduce confusion, I would like to ask that everyone keeps their NPCs in ONE post and in alphabetical order (By first name) so that they are easy to find. Also be sure to separate villains from heroes.

Bear in mind my list is still in the process of being edited.


**** AMY ****

Background:
Amy was born in Middletown to a pair of loving parents. The coupe happened when Amy was only 4, so she doesn't remember much of it, though something that traumatic, she DOES remember some. However, her dad was a tenacious freedom fighter for most of Robotnik's reign. It was just one year back that her dad was captured and roboticized. Since then, Amy has been training hard to become a freedom fighter so she can someday free her dad.

Personality:
Amy is even tempered, but tends to enjoy toying with people's minds when she can. A prodigy psychologist in the making, she loves taking people apart in her mind to see what makes them tick. Fortunately, she isn't a villain. Amy has the potential to truely be a powerful villain, but chooses not to thanks to her parents. Her mom and dad both survived the innitial attack on Middletown, but her dad was recently roboticized on a mission. This makes her pretty well raised by her loving and heroic parents rather than raised by some community. She is, as a result, a rarity in Channelwood since most are without their family one way or another.

She is fierce when she feels her loved ones are threatened. But since she is weak in body and strong in the mind, Amy uses her head as her fighting tool. She has been deemed too young to go on missions up till now and intends to eventually prove herself.


Abilities:
1.) Mighty Incisors - This character can bite into hard substances, such as wood, without much trouble.

2.) Habitual Gnawing - This character must find things to chew or gnaw on several times a day. They rather enjoy it too.

3.) Agile - Mice can walk tightropes without thinking about it much. They don't have a competitive attitude about it though.

4.) Tail Weakness - Mice have thin, weak tails that are there to provide balance for a mouse. Should their tail get hurt or worse, the mouse will find themselves no more agile than a drunk for at least 2 days after the innitial injury.

5.) Food Sense - Mice have good sniffers when it comes to food. They have an inborn sense of whether something is edible or not. This means they can figure out what they can survive off of even on alien planets where they aren't familiar with the food. This also means mice can smell any poisons that have a scent. They can also track down food as though it were a magnet pulling them, able to sense any food in the area within 100 yards. However, this doesn't mean they know exactly what the smells are. Most of this ability is subcontious. So this by no means makes Mice better cooks... just healthier ones.

6.) Incredible Insight - Amy loves picking people apart with her mind. People, their personalities and their inner most thoughts are like a puzzle that Amy LOVES solving. This has made her an amazing psychologist to some degree, allowing her to figure out what makes people tick. How to make someone do one thing or another. If someone has figured out that Amy is capable of "using" their personality to get them to do things and then they do the opposite just to spite her, Amy is also capable of using their spite against them. Amy is also excellent at predicting things that are going to happen, such as when or where an enemy may strike. She has been known to tell people to stop just before an acorn falls and hits the spot they were about to step into. It is to the point where people sometimes wonder if she is psychic or can read minds, but hides the fact. Amy is a genius... but applies most of that genius to this passtime.

**** AUTUMN ****

Background:
Autumn was an only child to a pair of freedom fighters from northern region of Channelwood Forest. When Middletown was taken, Autumn's parents joined the Channelwood Freedom Fighters and helped with mundane tasks such as cleaning, repairs and other such things. But due to being parents to a little girl, they didn't go on any missions.

As Autumn grew older, she learned that the real reason her parents didn't do missions was because they were scared. Nobody blamed them... but it made Autumn want to help all the more, feeling that whatever her parents hadn't done was now up to her to compinsate for.


Personality:
Humble. Autumn doesn't really pride herself in much of anything, but is dependable nonetheless. She is scared of going on missions, but will do so if she is needed and won't abandon her comrads or freeze up.


Abilities:
1.) No Claws - This character does not have the "Claws" ability.

2.) Herbivorous - This character eats only plants and fruit. If the character eats meat, they will get sick and possibly even die.

3.) Sprint - Autumn can get out of an area very fast and is likely to outrun most deer. Problem is, she can only keep this up a short time for a maximum of 60 seconds.

4.) Easily Startled - Autumn can be startled by pretty much anything that comes up out of nowhere. Joe, for instance, is someone Autumn tries hard to keep track of lest he pull one of his "been there all along and suddenly speak without you knowing he was there" tricks.

5.) Weak - Autumn is a wimp and isn't very capable when it comes to feats of strength. The only exception is her legs...

6.) Powerful Kick - Autumn doesn't pride herself in this even though it's probably the one ace she has besides sprinting. Due to all the jogging she does, Autumn has strong legs and could knock a SWATbot back a few feet with a single kick.

Background:
Born in the Kingdom-City of Urser and raised by a royal guard, Crucible was brought up to believe in chivalry and started training for his eventual position as a royal guard like his dad. However, things got cut short when at age 10, Crucible watched helplessly as Urser was conquored by Robotnik's forces. However, he was not completely helpless. As the attack occured, Crucible helped with Princess Shelly's escape. Consiquently, he also escaped. But he would stay by the princess for as long as he was needed. Growing up in the hideaway known as Aquarius, Crucible honed his skills thanks to a teacher who managed to also escape.

Personality:
Crucible is all about chivalry and honor. He believes in old school teachings such as men are to never hit women or children and you should say "Please" and "Thank you". It's to the point where he believes a woman's place is in the home raising children, not fighting on the battlefield. But given the times he lives in, Crucible lets that slide for the most part. His loyalties to the throne are enhanced by his moral code and thus he takes being a royal guard dead serious.

Abilities:
1.) Under Sea Combat - Crucible has been taught how to use a number of weapons and how to fight barefisted. However, the bulk of it assumes he is in the water. If you are in the water with Crucible, beware. He will kick your butt. Badly. Above water, however, Crucible's fighting skills are below par for what most would expect from a royal guard. It is definately enough to stave off the average attacker or buy time for the princess, but not enough for him to win any given battle.

2.) Expert Swimmer - Taught by Nautilus himself (Who was the number one Urser swimming champion in his day), Crucible is capable of swimming up to ?? mph under water. This is partly because a seabear royal guard is expected to be superior swimmers, but is also because the particular royal family member Crucible is protecting happens to love swimming with a passion. It is all Crucible can do to keep up.

3.) Water and Air - Being a seabear, Crucible is capable of breathing both water and air interchangeably.

**** HARRISON ****

Background:
Born in the calm Hilltop Zone, Harrison lived a peaceful childhood until Robotnik came and attacked his home. Having managed to escape with a bunch of other people from Hilltop, Harrison learned to be a freedom fighter. While he was not the leader, he was definately one of the tougher, stronger members. However, it finally came one day that his leader was led into a trap and they were all surrounded. Harrison had never felt quite as helpless since now that he was older and much stronger than when he was only a child, he felt he particularly let everyone down when he was unable to fight back. Taken prisoner, he was surprised to find he was treated with special care as he was led with prisoners from other lands on a trip that would take several hours only to land him in Middletown. Not that it mattered... the end result would be the same: Roboticization. That is, if it weren't for the Aquarius Freedom Fighters and the Channelwood Freedom Fighters ganging up on the SWATbots to free him and the other prisoners.

**** MARBLE ****

Name: Marble

Background:
Marble was born in the Marble Gardens on the Floating Island. His parents had fleed there from a recent scurmish in their home town which was burned to the ground. Named after his place of birth, Marble was ironically not there very long when the parents decided they would move back to Mobius, though not their hometown. Rather, they moved to the Land of a Million Lights and raised their son there. Marble grew to his teen years only for his sweet 16th birthday to be majorly turned wrong by the coupe. He got seperated from his parents, but survived the attack and became a member of the Million Lights Freedom Fighters. However, on one of his missions, Marble was caught and taken captive. Thanks to a lack of new captives over in a remote place called Middletown, Marble was taken there to be Roboticized. Though what he didn't know is that it was just to lure Middletown's local Freedom Fighters into a trap. But they pulled through and even rescued Marble, among others. As it turned out, there were two Freedom Fighter groups, so it was a cointoss as to which one he'd wind up joining.


Personality:
Slightly humble, but firm in what he believes. Marble is grateful to both the Channelwood AND Aquarius Freedom Fighters for rescuing him. He intends to be a go-to guy if either needs something delivered due to the fact he wasn't sure who he'd live with in the first place. Marble considers himself fortunate to be alive, but continues to fight the fight since the alternative is to let down those who rescued him. He dislikes Robotnik like most, but to a lesser extent. His primary purpose for fighting is to be by the side of his allies.


Abilities:

1.) Loyalty - This character has a natural tendency to be VERY loyal to their friends.

2.) Feral Call - The character with this ability can understand and use the complex howling language of the wild. It is a simple language and is only learned from family.

3.) Pack Mentality - This character shares a special kinship with those of the canine family (Especially those of the character's own race) and will go out of their way to help or even defend the honor of those who are canine.

4.) Carnivorous - This character can only eat meat. If the character eats something other than meat, they will get sick and possibly even die.

5.) Loud - This character can make vocal sounds at very high volumes. They have slightly better lungs than normal people, so they might also be able to stay under water an extra 20 seconds from the norm.

1.) Metal Baseball Bat - Marble is no martial artist. But he knows large blunt objects made of hard metal can hurt. He usually keeps this in his room, but has it on hand when on a mission or traveling long distances (Such as between towns).

Background:
One of the seabears who was not exactly capable of much fighting, Milloni made up for it in smarts. She found an escape route and accidentally wound up bumping into the royal elite guard who figured they may as well take her with them to Aquarius. Since then, she has studied what she loves best and became the Aquarius technician.


Personality:
Milloni is a little on the eccentric side, but not too much so as she is capable of ordinary conversation. She can seem distracted from time to time, but for the most part pays attention. Milloni also is relatively upbeat for losing her family to Robotnik as a teenager.


Abilities:
1.) Technician - Milloni can repair almost any damaged technology in Aquarius. She is also capable of figuring out the more basic aspects of Robotnik's technology such as SWATbots.

**** ORION ****

Name: Orion Deeprock
Title: Second in Command of the Deeprock Freedom Fighters

Group: Deeprock Freedom Fighters (Currently aiding the Aquarius FF)


Background:
The Petramite Clan and the Deeprock Tribe were once enemies. Their family feud stretched back for three generations and was just reaching it's peak of rivalry when suddenly, something much bigger than their personal squabblings came: Robotnik. It's ironic that the very one who sought to crush the hopes and dreams of this world brought two rival families together as the Petramite Clan and the Deeprock Tribe became the Petramite Freedom Fighters and the Deeprock Freedom Fighters. Having a common enemy to show them the true insignificance of their differences, the two Freedom Fighter groups shook hands and agreed to work together in coordination against Robotnik, acting as though they were still two seperate entities (Much like what the Channelwood and Aquarius Freedom Fighters are trying to accomplish). Having done this since not long after the day Robotnik took over, the two groups became so good at their coordination and ability to distract with one hand while the other hand does something entirely different. It got to where they were able to destroy the local Robotnik encampment that was once the hometown of the Petramite Clan. Robotnik was not pleased. However, there was nothing he could do about their meddling, both because they were hidden well and because the towns Robotnik once had control over were entirely demolished, thus serving no use for surveilance. But when he noticed activity increasing in the old Deeprock Tribe's town, Robotnik figured out that two groups were coordinating all along. He set a trap for them and Orion was on the mission where the trap was set. Fortunately, the quick thinking and unparallelled coordination of the two groups saved them from a capture. Unfortunately, however, Orion was captured. And now the two groups knew Robotnik knew of their working together. By the time a rescue mission was launched, Orion had already been taken away to Middletown for another trap Robotnik was setting. It would be infuriating enough to Robotnik that his trap for the Deeprocks FAILED, but his trap for the Middletown Freedom Fighters failed as well. But his failure meant Orion's salvation for Orion was rescued from the clutches of Ra and taken back with the Aquarius Freedom Fighters.


Personality:
Responsible, cautious, but also kind and friendly. Orion is fuled by a patriotism to what teamwork can accomplish. Overwhelmed with the successes he's seen, both in the destruction of one of Robotnik's city-bases AND seeing the Middletown trap backfire on Robotnik, Orion is also a very optimistic guy. He believes it with all his heart to only be a matter of time, maybe a year or less, before Robotnik is dethroned. And this belief is not the kind fuled by needing to believe it lest he fall apart... this is fuled by seeing it happen. It is this level of faith in the future that brings Orion fearlessness that is only surpassed by insanity such as Mittens.


Abilities:
1.) Excellerated Regeneration - This character not only heals faster than the average mobian, they can even grow limbs back, given time.

2.) Cold Blooded - This character strongly prefers keeping to the sunlight or other warm places and thus loves being near warm blooded people. He or she will slow down significantly going into a semi-contious state where all they wanna do is sleep/hybernate.

1.) Deeprock Tribe Dagger - Every member of the Deeprock Tribe has a special knife that is made for the individual while retaining certain marks and colors that bind it to the tribe as a whole. It's about 9" long from the base of the handle to the tip of the blade, having a 3.5" long handle and a 5.5" long blade. Orion's blade looks akin to a ceramonial dagger complete with tassles on the butt of the handle and an oddly shaped curvey blade with runic inscriptions on it. Orion keeps his blade sharp, using a sharpening stone after every mission.

**** THOMAS ****

Name: Thomas
Title:

Background:
Time and time again, Thomas has seen loss with little to no victory obtained. He never stopped fighting, but his faith and hope eventually turned into the cinicism of a burnout. He's hopped from one Freedom Fighter group to another, watching them get killed or roboticized. Back in his earlier days, he would cry. Then his tears turned to a moment of silence. Today, he could watch his own mother be roboticized and not even be remotely distracted from his task.


Personality:
He's seen that this war is already over and Robotnik has won. But he doesn't care anymore. He's seen his friends betray him. But he doesn't care anymore. He's seen love as well... people who he cared about dying or roboticized. But he doesn't care anymore. There was a time when those things mattered to him, but it's all burned out into dying embers and he fights for spite.

Hating what kind of a world Robotnik has made and that thanks to Robotnik, people are no longer capable of being what they once were, Thomas doesn't even care if he personally takes out Robotnik or not. He doesn't even care whether Robotnik is taken out at ALL. All Thomas cares about is making sure Robotnik will have the hardest time holding on to what he has. Thomas, despite the fact he thinks Robotnik has already won, wants Robotnik to suffer no matter what and he refuses to ever give up. Thomas is, consiquently more stubborn than a mule and will never change his mind until Robotnik is dethroned... which Thomas just doesn't see happening.


Abilities:
1.) Observent - Thomas notices what others miss and can put two and two together. Your basic detective. He doesn't know much from people and their emotions and he could care less. But he does know that if there is a light scratch mark on the side of a brick there were freedom fighters in the area. He spots details in a given area very easily and thoroughly with just a glance.

2.) Tracker - Thomas is an excellent tracker. Able to use clues and his know how to be able to track down anyone who has recently been in an area.


Weapons:
1.) Crowbar - Of the weapons Thomas has tried out, he's found he likes the crowbar best since it is lighter than a sledgehammer but has enough ouch to it that he doesn't need anything heavier. Plus it doubles as a tool!


Equipment:
1.) Crowbar - Thomas uses it for what it was made for just as much as he uses it as a weapon.

Personality:
In his sick sense of humor, Robotnik made these robots with some personality to them. Every one of them acts like a typical military grade guard. They laugh at an ally's minor misfortune (Such as Snively tripping) and cower in fear when Robotnik glares at them. They also tend to plead for their exsistance when Robotnik is about to scrap one of them. Obviously, Robotnik enjoys scrapping robots all the more when they are pleading for mercy. It should be noted no SWATbot has true sentience (With a single possible exception that a certain someone may be applying for), but they are all programmed to be your run of the mill jack-booted thugs when confronting freedom fighters.

Abilities:
1.) Communications - Any SWATbot can call for backup and communicate with any SWATbot in the nearby vacinity. They have built-in radios that allow for such communication and have a city-wide range (Meaning it is more like a true 10 mile radius range). They can also send pertinent data straight to their local master computer for their resident commander to observe.
2.) Easily Destroyed - Many think the SWATbots were cheaply built because Robotnik is stingy, but that isn't so. The SWATbots fall apart relatively easy so that their parts are salvaged much easier by other SWATbots and thus repaired and back on the field in very short order. It takes about 30 minutes from start to finish for a brand new SWATbot to be built, but only 1-5 minutes to create a SWATbot from the damaged parts of fallen SWATs. In the larger scheme of things, this reduced Robotnik's output costs SUBSTANTIALLY and makes his army seem to never end.
3.) Horrible Aim - As it stands, it's an amazing feat to have a mass-produced robot that has similar coordination skill to a human for walking, noticing moving objects and being able to tell the difference between a sewer rat and a freedom fighter. That said, sadly, these robots can not aim to save their hides (Literally). Robotnik easily dismissed the need for aim when there are so many SWATbots that if it really comes down to it, Robotnik could just have a hundred or so shoot at you and you are finished due to the probability of being hit (Lucky for Sonic, he can dodge lasers. So being priority one hedgehog doesn't really make too much of a difference to him). So at any given time, if one or two SWATbots are shooting at a freedom fighter, chances are high they will miss. The danger is real, though. There is always a chance one of those thousands of shots could hit a freedom fighter.

Laser Rifel - Not all SWATbots get the privilage of having the higher powered Laser Rifle, but those that do are given these with the understanding that they are to use them at a closer range than their arm-mounted guns so that there is no escape. Many a freedom fighter has been caught without a struggle just by having this weapon pointed at them.

Background:
Nobody saw this guy coming. Nobody. Not King Acorn and not even Robotnik's own family. Snively knew that Robotnik was out to take over Mobotropolis, but had no idea that Robotnik was even half as evil as he really was. Snively was so small-minded... only after petty things like conquering. Power. Greed. Not Robotnik. Robotnik was after everything that went against what is good. Especially twisting good things into rotten or evil things. It is a mystery how Robotnik became as evil as he is today, but what is known is that he served as the general of King Max's army only to turn around and take over the entire world... starting with King Max.

Robotnik's background before the take-over is a mystery to everyone but his nephew Snively. And even then, Snively only knows so much. Some believe Robotnik was just born the way he is... others believe he is the revenge of an evil deity. Whatever the case, his background no longer matters since Robotnik is not beyond cutting all ties.


Personality:
Somewhere, some great evil is smiling. Some infathomable darkness. Call him the Devil. Call him what you will, but whatever caused an evil like Robotnik to become the bane of this era in Mobian history was not of this world. Though Robotnik is a technologist by trade, his true love is evil. He seems to enjoy ruining everything that is the cycle of nature and feels complimented when people tell him how low and dispicable he is. Robotnik is not cold like people sometimes say. If only he were... no. He is passionate about evil and takes great joy in causing suffering. To the point of giving his creations the ability to feel fear so they can emulate the final plea for life whenever Robotnik feels like scrapping one. If there is one man in history who had no chance for salvation, it was Robotnik. He has just about any villainous quality you can dream of. Cleches like monologuing aside, things such as having a lacky for the sole purpose of having someone to blame when things go wrong are an example of the kinds of villainous qualities he has. It makes the bitterness and vile intentions all the sweeter to Robotnik that said lacky "Snively" is his own nephew. Family. Something that was meant to be loved, Robotnik enjoyed twisting into something to hate and make hate. Robotnik even takes pleasure out of being hated for how far gone he is, enjoying the scouls he sees on Snively's face out of the corner of his eye, only to turn it to cold sweat when he asks Snively what is on his mind. There is nothing left for this man but the total suffering of the entire world.

Granted, thanks to his technological drive and his hatred of "clean air" and organic life in general, Robotnik is driven to make the world a filthy place so it can know a miserable life before he brings it to it's eventual slow and painful death. Nobody knows this, but Robotnik has the intention of living for as long as he can make possible before tearing the world apart in the wake of his death.


Abilities:
1.) Electronics - Robotnik is incredibly smart and happens to like anything to do with technology. He can create advances to science once in a while and can make just about any evil technology he can dream up... and considering how often he dreams up evil things, that says something.



Weapons:
1.) Side arm - Not that he needs this, but Robotnik always has a laser pistol at his side.
2.) Army - This is what Robotnik primarily uses... an army of robots. Millions of them.


Equipment:
1.) Jet thrusters - Robotnik's boots are also thrusters that allow him to hover whenever he feels the need.
2.) Huge Resources - Robotnik has taken over the world of Mobius. He has all the equipment he can dream up if he so desires.

Background:
At the news of Middletown losing more resources than it was gaining thanks to it's local freedom fighters, Robotnik decided to overcompensate. Feeling in a vindictive and sinister mood that day, Robotnik went overboard and created a flying masterpiece... or monstrosity, depending on who you ask. Once ruled by nothing more than automation, Middletown now had a gigantic robot dragon named Ra to rule over it. Although the Channelwood Freedom Fighters pulled off an alliance with another freedom fighter group just days before, it was too little too late. For now, both will have to contend with Ra.


Personality:
Dark. Ra has every intention of making sure those who do not follow Robotnik will suffer. He has no intention of killing anyone. Death of the enemy is failure in his eyes since it means they escape the penalty they deserve and Robotnik loses one more useful slave. Always bitter and looking for ways to take it out on his enemies, Ra continually thinks up ways to capture, torment and otherwise make life HELL for his enemies. He has his ulterior motives, but in the end, his loyalty to Robotnik is as complete as his loyalty to pure evil and malice. After all... he sees Robotnik as a God of both. His personality has a minor flaw, however... since he is always angry, making him made makes him turn into an uncontrollable ferocious firestorm. He will go as far as to destroy property such as SWATbots and even buildings if it means getting revenge on those who anger him.


Abilities:
Fire Breathe: Ra can shoot flames from his mouth. They are normally about the same heat a campfire would be (About 300 degrees Fahrenheit) since Ra is not interested in completely incinerating his victims. However, his flames can get hotter should he want. Up to thousands of degrees
Tungsten Carbide Coating: Ra's metal has been covered in a special coating that can resist heat up to temperatures of even 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit. This also means lasers and other such energy weapons are worthless against him.

Background:
Born in Urser to a kind, caring pair of parents, Naiyor grew up to be a man nobody would have seen coming by looking at his parents. He had great loyalty to the crown and patriotism to Urser, but his ideas of how things should be run greatly differed from the King's ideas. He made up his mind in his teens that he would study hard and become a political entity. His hard work was not in vain as he became an advisor to the crown by age 24. Time after time, however, his advice was looked upon with scepticism and even distain. Maximus freaquently pulled Naiyor aside to try and calm him down and "talk sense" into him. But with every talk, Naiyor only got angrier. Report after report came in of the land-dwellers polluting Ursen waters and various sea-fairing races giving no heed to the Seabears. Naiyor got zealous. Too zealous. He secretly persuaded a squad of the Ursen military to scout an area he KNEW would be trouble. Some otters were there and did exactly what Naiyor was hoping. The scheme was successful for a moment, but when the king found out that Naiyor had gone behind his back, he was deeply disturbed and decided it was time for Naiyor to take a vacation.

This happened moments before the coupe. Naiyor, furious with his actions being underappreciated and even hated, was desperate to get things accomplished since the King was clearly unwilling. When he heard a man was taking over the world, he quickly sent word to volunteer as an agent for Robotnik, explaining his current problems. Robotnik, still not sure where the message came from and still unaware of Urser, sent his reply to the place Naiyor requested. Naiyor was there waiting for him. When he volunteered to be roboticized and to personally see to the roboticization of his own homeland, Robotnik was impressed and allowed it to see if the seabear would follow through. When he did, Naiyor got Robotnik's approval as an officer of Robotnik's empire, permitted to rule over Urser.

While he was able to capture and roboticize the king and queen, the little princess had escaped somehow. Fearing he could be responsible for the deaths of any seabear at all, Naiyor specifically ordered his robot army to only capture seabears. He also made an agreement with his neigboring officers such as Ra that they would not kill seabears. They easily agreed since live servants are more useful, but with the condition that if a seabear becomes too much of a problem in their respective areas, the kid gloves come off. It's lucky for Naiyor that Urser is the main focus of any seabear....


Personality:
Venomous and bitter, Naiyor hates people as a general rule. But he is innately racist in that he loves his kind and hates all else besides seabears. He has a twisted mind, though, and so his "patriotism" for his race winds up being the very thing that makes him their current tyrant. He believes his tyranny under Robotnik is the first step needed to advance all of seabear kind to the next step in their evolution and that Robotnik will fall to the ravages of time, but he himself will remain since he is roboticized. That said, he fully plans to suck all the technological benefits from Robotnik that he can as a loyal servant until Robotnik dies and then lead the Seabears to take over the entire world. A seabear life is more important to him than any material wealth. So he is cautious to give the bots in his command orders that don't involve lethal force on seabears... roboticized or not. However, it's fair game on any other race.

As a side note, while he thought King Maximus Urser to be a fool in his passifist ways, Naiyor still has a ton of respect for the once-king and keeps him to do duties only fit for a King (such as giving out orders from Naiyor or sorting important data files). What he doesn't realise is that the roboticization process does not shut off the person's awareness and so this whole time, King Maximus has been learning many of Robotnik's secrets despite the fact he is roboticized.


Abilities:
1.) Eye beams - There is definately still a little kid in Naiyor as he still finds the ability to shoot lasers from his eyes as irresistable, so he had his eye fitted with contacts that can do just that (He didn't replace his eyes).

2.) Ink - Taking a page from the octopus' self defense mechanism, Naiyor has ink tanks stored on every limb of his body so that if need be, he can shoot off the ink to darken the area and escape.

3.) Enhanced Stength - Like most roboticized mobians, Naiyor is super-strong. He can also swim faster than the average seabear (Though not by too much since there is only so much his body shape will allow in the water).

4.) Comm Link - Standard with even a SWATbot, Naiyor has a comm link with his army of robots, allowing him to call for backup or give out orders. Though unlike SWATs, it extends to the whole city of Urser, allowing him to give orders and even see through the eyes of his servants while sitting in his throne room.

5.) Copy - Naiyor learned something important while he was an advisor to the King: It is important to never allow the ACTUAL King to be vulnerable. And one good tactic to keep this true is to have someone who looks like the king wear his robes when being seen. In Naiyor's case, he has a dupicate robot who looks like himself, but is just a puppet he controls from deeper inside the secret confines of Urser.


Weapons:
First, it should be noted that Naiyor does NOT know about the sacred weapon of Urser known as the Sword of Urser.

1.) Arm Blades - Like Baraka of Mortal Kombat or a Protoss Zealot from Starcraft, Naiyor has a blade attatched to each arm. They don't look like claws, though, and are flat energy blades that look like miniature swords.

2.) Side Arm - Ever since he joined Robotnik's forces, Naiyor learned how useful laser weapons can be. So he has one in the form of a laser pistol on his side. It's just as potent as the average SWATbot arm laser, but much more accurately calibrated.

3.) Spear - Keeping to tradition, should Naiyor actually fight a freedom fighter one-on-one, he will use his spear first before he resorts to his arm blades or side arm. He still believes in tradition and honor. But to a degree... he will shoot obviously overwhelming opponents with his side arm. Such as overlanders or other such obviously overpowering opponents.

I guess I'll throw my NPCs up here too :) Though, for now, it's only really one NPC and one in-transit.  I finish this out later, so don't worry if it looks incomplete.

Background:
Born in the Aquatic Ruins zone, Walden lived a fairly peaceful life with his friends and family.  His early years were spent playing games and learning how to navigate the underwater ruins when he was bored.  However, when Robotnik invaded, their peace was shattered and his family took to hiding deep in the ruins to escape capture.  They were more like stow-aways than Freedom Fighters, living in hiding beneath the ruins for years, and only surfaced to search for food and supplies.  When Walden's parents didn't come back after their weekly outing, he assumed the worst and went out to look for them.  Days later, he was captured and sent to Middletown in order to be roboticized.  Luckily for him, the combined efforts of the Channelwood and Aquarius Freedom Fighters saved him and the other prisoners from their fates.  Being an Otter, it was probably natural that he was taken into Aquarius to aid in their effort.  To this day, however, he has no idea what became of his parents.

Personality:
A surfer who tries to act cooler than he really is.  Underneath the surface, he'd rather swim away from problems than deal with them head on.

Abilities:
1.) Swimming (natural)- Has a natural ability for swimming and operating underwater and outperforms most creatures that are not naturally built for or trained in underwater conditions.

2.) Carnivore- This character can only eat meat (includes fish).  Eating anything other than meat in large exclusive amounts may result in sickness, strange behavior, or even death.

3.) Surfing- Though there aren't many opportunities for it these days, Walden can manage a surfboard very well and can even surf using makeshift boards (planks of wood, metal sheets, etc.)

Short.  Old.  Overweight.  Saggy cheeks.  Almost always has a lackluster expression.


Background:
Born to an army major, Jimmy was raised during the height of the great war on a steady diet of "Overlanders are evil" long before Robotnik was even born.  He enlisted as soon as he graduated from high school and soon became a recon specialist on the front lines.  There he witnessed evil at the hands of both sides.  By the time the great war was supposedly over, he was very jaded and fully expected the military and/or the government to betray the people and become tyrannical.  Robotnik proved him right.


Personality:
Jaded.  Jimmy is rarely surprised because he doesn't expect much from people.  A follower by nature and experience, cares little that a teenage girl has taken charge of the CFF.  Jimmy keeps to himself unless some practical need arises.


Abilities:
1.) Racial Attributes - Jimmy has all the abilities listed for Dogs in the race section. ("Loyalty", "Feral Call", "Pack Mentality" and "Carnivorous")

2.) Veteran - A soldier in a global war for 20 years, Jimmy hasn't forgotten what he learned on the battlefield.

3.) Wilderness Survival - Without Jimmy's experience, it's very likely the Channelwood freedom fighters wouldn't have survived the first week much less the next 10 years.

Weaknesses / Limitations:
1.) Old fat man - These old limbs ain't what they used to be.

2.) Defeated - Jimmy fully expects the resistance to lose to Robotnik.  He keeps his trusty old pistol handy for the day when he's captured - to use it on himself.
