Re: Solomon Kane

Neither.

I was PMed and asked to create the topic.

That being said, I bought the compilation Savage Sword of Solomon Kane, read it and liked it.  If someone ran it, I'd probably be interested in playing

Re: Solomon Kane

I do in fact have the book.  Picked it up at GenCon, and I've got to say, it's amazing.  It's very detailed and it contains modified savage worlds rules.  It's a savage world game with a few adjustments like only two types of arcane backgrounds.  Sorcery and Shamanism.

I'm thinking of running a game, but I need some time to set everything up, and I might just try doing 1 adventure and seeing if it's something to continue or not on here.  I'm going to be running a game with some friends, and I wouldn't mind trying it on here first and seeing how it all goes.

Re: Solomon Kane

I should have my Solomon Kane game up very soon.  I'll start with one adventure and see how it goes and if it is going well then I'll continue it as an on-going campaign.

If you're interested in playing, go to the link below and send me a PM with your character concept.

Re: Solomon Kane

I know the premise, but I don't have the book, sorry.  I will definitely read your game logs if they are public though :)

Re: Solomon Kane

I've signed up, not having the SK book. I think I can pick it up, his game thread has a nice list of character types.

Re: Solomon Kane

If you have the Savage Worlds book, you can pretty much play with a few adjustments.  So, if you want to play, look at the character types I have listed and we can go from there.

Re: Solomon Kane

Hey, I know its been awhile, but ed, do you have any openings in your Kane game? I just got the book and have a ton of ideas for characters I'd love to play. If you've got the room, I'd love to join up.

Re: Solomon Kane

Ok, the Solomon Kane game has pretty much died, as our GM seems to have left the building. I'm more than willing to GM this setting (you'd have to beat me back with a stick to stop me actually), and most of the players in the game were very into it. If anyone here is, I'd love to get it going. We should easily get ebough players.

There's the game, send RTJs if you're interested.

Re: Solomon Kane

Anyone interested in running some Solomon Kane? I have not played the actual Plot Point but would gladly play anything in this setting.

I was in a game that died, revivied, and died again.  I'd be interested in giving it a shot again, but I don't have the books

Re: Solomon Kane

Solomon Kane is a great setting with probably my favorite magic system I've seen for Savage Worlds to date. I'd probably be up for playing... maybe running but that's a big MAYBE
