Heya guys, ben a few minutes. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am getting ready to restart the Cormyr game.
  Life has been hectic with trying to handle both sisters estates, find a decent job, and dealing with other family issues. But, I am managing to find time to game, so life is not all bad. I did manage to finally land a job, and it is only one day a week. Plus I have my shop, which is also in serious need of a reboot.

I hope it all goes well, and I'm looking forward to the Cormyr reboot at last.

Happy Father's Day to everyone who is one - or has one somewhere in the family tree ;P

Hey guys! It's been a while, but I am still here, checking in every so often when I see posts. I got a new job, and the training for it is intensive and long. Also a bit boring in spots. But, I am finished with training finally, and today is my first half day of work. They have me on half days until I get used to it. Then when I feel ready, they give me full days.
   I received a visit from my 8 month old grandson these past few weeks, man is he growing fast. I wish I could slow down time, but alas, no can do. So taking lots of pictures and enjoying the time I have.
   Monday I hope to give Cormyr the shot in the arm it needs to get going again, and I am eager to get back into roleplaying and DMing on here. Life has finally straightened out, at least for the moment, and for once I am at peace with myself.
  Looking forward to playing with you, and may your futures be bright.

Oh the Hound totally kills Sansa.  Little Finger is on the Iron Throne.  The Wight Walkers have brought Kal Drogo back and Danny is having a cow.  Cersei is ruling Winterfell.  It's epic.  You're totally missing out!

Is anyone interested in adding a warrior to a group?  Fighter, possibly a knight-ish type or standard sword and board type.  Either follows Selune, Waukeen, or Tempus?  Might splash into Bard for a level or two.  I would consider a Barbarian, Swashbuckler, or Ranger... even a Pally.  But it's always hard since at 3rd level having the feats you get as a Human 3rd level Fighter make up for anything else on the battlefield (in my experience).  I'm not -really- interested in being surrounded by shorties or arcanists but it isn't a deal breaker at all.  It's just more difficult because it's harder to relate IC.  But I do play well with tanks, bricks, bazookas, cannons, and talkative priest types.

There aren't any house-rules for this, the normal core rules apply.

Crunch-wise, a character with the outsider type such as an aasimar is immune to certain spells that would only affect humanoids. This has benefits and drawbacks: hold person doesn't work on them, but neither does enlarge person, while they get many more options with alter self.

The Lesser Aasimar variant switches the type to Humanoid, making them susceptible to spells that affect both types while limiting some things like alter self options.

Otherwise, a Planetouched can take the Planetouched Regions for the Forgotten Realms setting, detailed in our Character Creation thread.
