Actually, I'll throw this out there. The Oriental Adventures group is down to four good players, thanks to RL issues. If any of you want to give OA a try, just let me know and I'll help you get caught up to speed in Group 8.

I would really like to but, I don't think I could honestly dedicate the time to play.

We really are a fun group to be around... Hunting tigers, routing bandits, slaying ogres...

The OA group is pretty fun, and has a pretty different feel from the normal Nemrac adventures. I'm really enjoying it.

Tern here, I'll hold off on OA until I relearn 1e AD&D, it has been decades since I played it, been playing 3.5 since 2000. Started playing in 1981 when I was in the army. I might need some help refreshing myself, please have patience.

I feel you there Tern! I grew up with 1st edition under my dad. Played 3.5 since middleschool all the way up.

Got all of the 1st edition books from my dad and decided I wanted to play it again. Now I'm here! The OA being my first game of 1st ed. since I was 11.

Not-so-annual State of the Game Address:

There's something I want to address, and please don't feel like I'm beating you over the head with this - too many players lately are looking in without posting. It happens every once in a while - for example, over a dozen players looked in today or yesterday, but haven't posted since Sunday or Monday (or earlier). Even if your character doesn't have anything new to contribute to the discussion, or isn't in the front row of a combat, etc., please put your two cents in. Even an OOC, "Still hiding in the back," or, "Ready to move on," reassures me that everyone gets their say before I move the game ahead. If I ever skip your action, please get in touch with me. If I've made mistakes, and believe me, I have, just let me know, so I can fix them.

As always, if you have to be away from the game for any Real Life reasons, try to let me know. You guys and girls have always been patient when I am away, and for that, thank you so much. In this format, communication is vital.

I'd much rather see your posts than not see them.  :^)

Guilty as charged Jeff.  I should have put something in this thread to let you know at least.   With the summer upon us I've had the family descend and recently work has been heavy.  Posting has taken a back seat as I've been waiting on others to carry the action forward and post only when character action was required.  I will become better.

I think I am guilty, too. No offense, but I am very busy at work and try to keep up with the game by reading what is happening. If there is no dire need to write anything I just skip it, sorry, but I really like to be part of the game.
