Over the last two months I've either had a series of maladies, or the one malady that keeps coming and going. Finally felt like I'd gotten over it last weekend, only to regress this week. A Periapt of Health would be a great addition right now.

I do love words, disease can be read as dis-ease or literally being not at ease, or not at ease.

Actually, I didn't even know it. I have every song they ever recorded, though I was a bit young when he died, I found them in the mid to late 70's when I was in high school.

I've also been a big fan of The Doors' music since high school. Though, I'm just a young whipper snapper compared to Tern. For me, high school was the late 80s/early 90s. A couple of years back I watched a bunch of interviews and other videos of Ray talking about Jim, their musical process, or just interesting stories from their time together. He was a great storyteller.

Ray passed away a few years back too, big loss. I love the organ in my rock music. I was deeply saddened when Jon Lord of Deep Purple passed too. They are another favorite. I have more music on my computer than I can ever listen too in the rest of my life. Thousands of 'albums' and songs, mostly mp3s and mp4s. Some quite rare.

Well, maybe not the last, but you're probably quite far down the line! ;)

I fall age-wise somewhere between Tern and Wehostan, high school finished for me in the mid-80s. That's where I first heard of The Doors, through schoolfriends whose parents were way cooler than mine. My musical tastes for many years fell in the rock-heavy metal-punk spectrum, and I still like all that stuff, but I've definitely mellowed with age (and family!) - any good tune/song works for me these days.

I listen to The Oldies Channel on the radio when in the car, the music is form about 1957 to about 1980-85. I have a few albums newer, Clutch, The Black Keys. But I also have Frank Sinatra, Blue Oyster Cult, The Rascals, Dave Clark 5 and Them! I love Motown too!

I listen to mostly Classic Rock and Blues, plus Punk, Metal (less than I used to, but I still listen to some), Reggae... But recently, I've been getting back into the 90's/00's Ska revival stuff. Currently listening to Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.

I have a ton of Blues and Jazz too, Muddy Waters, Lead Belly, Miles Davis, Sonny Stitt. Some punk heavy Metal, Classical.

Mostly listening to these as I await Jeff's life returning to normal.

Just a high capacity thumb drive.  Better than using those 500+ CDs in the other room.

My usual D&D mood music is classic metal, though.

An elf enters the tavern. Some could consider her "plain" for an elf (which is still rather lovely). Her brown hair is well tended yet loosely gathered off to one side, with a broad brim hat upon her crown.

Helooooo? o.. o.. o.....

She calls out to the quiet tavern. Wondering if people are just hiding under the tables or behind the bar or in the kitchens. She is content to serve herself something and talk to the dust motes floating in the air...but they don't tend to answer.
