Re: Prison

The Polish soldier easily slips free from Dons grasp. He turns and as he does so, the pot in his hand lashes out at Dons body. Even though he understood the barely intelligable words that Don spoke to him, he chose to ignore them.

Re: Prison

Cam dived at the remaining guard catching him around the legs and sends them both crashing into the wall with a sickening thud. They slide to the floor, both still fighting for the upper hand.

The contents of the pot spread out over the floor like an oil slick, forgotten in the sudden, unexpected violence.

Re: Prison

Ok, we now move on to phase 2. The order of action is Cam, Don, Alfred and then Guido.

Cam is on the floor with the guard, Don standing nearby with Alfred and Guido out in the hall.

Don throws himself onto the soldier once more, trying to stop him from screaming. Failing to do so, his opponent now has the upper hand, and the only thing Don manages to get out of him is merely a short sentence.

Re: Prison

The one remaining Polish guard suffers immensely as boots crash into his arm and chest. The sound of breaking bones is enough to make even the most hardened of people wince in sympathy, but somehow, amazingly, the guard stays conscious.

Cam takes another swing but misses again, the guard to busy writhing in pain to notice the near miss of her fist.

Re: Prison

Oh, poor boy. I only wanted him to help us with information to get us away from here, and knowing what opposition we have here. But he just wouldn't listen. And now Dave's boot will send him to sleep. Well, he will probably survive.

Don rises and walks over to the other bodies. He kneels down, to hear if their assault has woken up the entire camp. If not, he checks whether any of the soldiers are about his size.

Re: Prison

The unfortunate guard lapses into unconsciousness, the bloody beating finally taking its toll.

A quick search of the guards finds 2 x AK-74 assault rifles with 1 30 round magazine each, 1 knife, one (now empty) pot, a clean(ish) bucket, three sets of boots (none fit anybody) and a small bunch of keys.

The weapons appear to have seen heavy use over the last couple of years but are well maintained. The ammunition looks to have been reloaded several times. Their uniforms are patched but recently laundered (the last day or so anyway). The knife is just a standard hunting knife, good for skinning animals and general use.

Cam quickly surveys the carnage around her. She climbs to her feet and asks Guido to translate for her.
[Private to Dave Guido: Can you please ask Lt Col Alfred if he wouldn't mind me carrying one of those AK's?]
That said, she moves out into the hall towards the bodies laying there.

Alfred turns & picks up an AK-74 & offers it to Dave & tells Dave to tell Cam to take the second weapon. Alfred picks up the knife before starting to strip one of the guards for his clothes.

Re: Prison

Don looks through the stuff on the two soldiers. "I was never very good as a marksman, so I guess someone else could take care of the weapons, until we have more of them. I'm thinking of taking one of the uniforms, though. I probably could look some kind of Polish for a brief moment if spotted. And with a couple of Polish phrases I might make that moment a little longer.

Don undresses one of the soldiers and tries on the uniform. After that he grabs the keys, to see if there are more cells to be opened.

Don sees a wooden office type door at either end of the corridor and another reinforced door on the same side as the cell you came out of. There are no windows in the hall.

Re: Prison

Don rushes over to the reinforced door, on the other end of the corridor. He glances in to see whether it is another cell, or if it's even a guard-room. If he sees more prisoners, or if he think it is empty. He says a couple of words in English, so that they don't think he is actually another soldier.

After that he unlocks the door.

"Keep silent!" he whispers.

"Sounds fair, I'll do it" like I have a choice being the lowest rank. Being an NCO and locked up with officer why wouldn't I, it is punishment enough.[Private to Nuked: Do you still have that other character ready I sent?]

Re: Prison

Don hears voices in English through the door but cannot make out the words. Trying a few keys, he eventually finds the right one and the door swings open to show a similar cell to the one just escaped.
Inside are four more prisoners. Three are dressed in ragged British uniforms and the other is an attractive woman in American camoflage.

The S.Sgt sneaks down the 5 or 6 metres to the end of the corridor and presses his ear to the door. Hearing nothing, he trys the door but finds it to be locked.[Private to Dave Guido: consider that char as a backup - maybe]

Re: Prison

Don makes a gesture to the captives, not to say a word. Letting the English soldiers out he forces an eyecontact with the young beauty. He puts up his best smile and says gently:

" 'ey lassie, what is a girl like you, doing in a place like this?

No need to thank me, I'll take good care of you, promise."

After the chitchat he looks at Dave, having problems opening the door. Don selects the keys that might fit, and when he manages to unlock it, he silently opens it and lets Dave take care of clearing the corridor, or room, behind it. As Dave enters the door, Don smiles at the girls again, showing that HE is the man controlling the keys.

Re: Prison

Alfred checks to see who is inside the other cell & is pleasantly surprised to see two soldier in British SAS uniforms. Speaking to the prisoners he introduces himself to them. "The name is Lt. Colonel Alfred Nelson, SAS. You need to stay quiet whilst we ensure the way is clear, anyone present who could help make sure the way is safe. I need a couple of volunteers (looking directly at the two SAS soldiers in the cell) to go with Dave to check it out"
