Re: Lana's Quandry of the month

I'm a bit confused because as I recall last as we headed back to the clinic that Virgil and I were going to go about halfway back and then circle back to setup an ambush along a main avenue of approach for the bandits coming back to the train station.  Then I see Virgil posting at the clinic, which is fine, but I took that to mean along with the meeting with the Major bit as we had completed our mission with the bandits at the train station deal.  What am I getting wrong?

Re: Lana's Quandry of the month

^.^ It was a bit confusing.

Eerm, we said that's what we were doing. And I'm guessing Nuked decided to move us along.. and posted this:

Nuked:
Don offered food as Brown had suggested, but nobody appeared willing to take it. Giving up for the moment, but expecting somebody to show up on the doorstep a little later, the group returned to the "clinic" to regroup, tally their booty and plan the next step in dealing with the marauder problem apparently based in the train station just a few hundred metres from where they now sat.

/////////

I take that to mean, that we returned, but it is also possible that you and Virgil could have decided to maintain your ambush position longer than the rest of the group.

I'm guessing that the brusque move to have the group back at the clinic was, to offer us a chance to meet up with the new characters, figure out how we wanted to proceed game-wise, and possibly to cut down on the inactive characters.

It remains that, we searched a section of the station (for sure) I'm not sure if we searched all of it or not, as that wasn't made clear. ..Either due to our raid ...or the mass exodus, any other bandits chose to hide away due to the confusion or fear or perhaps were out on another raid.

As far as I know Nuked took into account the ambush, and decided that (Since no one (bandits) was on their way any time soon) He would push past that point.

Or he could have not noticed the ambush plan, and skimmed over it by accident due to work load.

All the above is guessing, as I don't know for sure. >.<

I hope that helps sort things, because that's how it sorted in my tiny lil brain.. ^.^ *wibble wibble*

As for shopping, I think Devlin? has been trying to trade for milk for the past -eerm forever or something like that, because the infant needs it.. Ooh and the last time he went out, they were interrupted by our call for a translator or battle or something.

Re: Lana's Quandry of the month

Group,

I thought I would drop a line to say "hello!". While I more-or-less had to drop out of Leg/Nuked's game, I genuinely enjoyed this game and was having fun and was disappointed it didn't work out.

Fortunately, it wasn't due to any real-life problems other than simply a lack of time and energy that prevented me from being an active player and participating at the level I feel this long-running game deserves.

I truly enjoyed RPing with everyone and of course Nuked, and wish you all and of course the game the best!

In reply to Svetlana Valentinnova Ivanova (msg #764):

Oh, snap!

Legbreaker, you just been called out! (I think.)

That said, I genuinely enjoyed playing and found everyone to be really cool and fun to play with. I hope things pick up, seems like a good crew.

RPGs like this always have random internet douchebags who show up and then leave for no reason. I may well be a douchebag (sometimes) but at least you know what the score was and understand how I feel.

I'm not trying to be mean but, if the game isn't going to go on anymore, I'm fine with that and just want to drop it from my favorites.  I enjoy the game and would like to stay even if we're going at a slower posting rate.

Cork,

Things don't always work out we want them to, it's true. I'm no longer playing so I can't really comment either way but I do understand why people feel frustrated.

It's clear that Leg still has a core of creative and dedicated players, hopefully he will continue to provide the game you all want and deserve!

Re: Lana's Quandry of the month

Group,

As a head's up, I PM'd the GM and he confirmed he is interested in continuing the game. Unfortunately, for various reasons he's not ready continue at this time but again, will do so in the future.

If people are interested in other games in the mean time, please PM me for further information. I know of at least one or more T2K games looking for players, as well as an All Flesh Must be Eaten (zombie survival horror) game on RPOL that could use another player or two. Further, I know of at least one or two Morrow Project (paramilitary-style post-apocalypse) RPGs that could use more players.

Cool, Tony.

Will stay here, no worries about that. Might check up on another T2k later on. Will try to get my work into Paranoia and DoD for the time being though.

Great to hear!

If anyone is looking for another T2K game, Raellus' "Pirates of the Vistula" game (which has moved into "Ruins of Warsaw") could use new players, especially someone wanting to take over a female character.

Re: Lana's Quandry of the month

Got a fledgling T2K (1st edition) game starting up.  Interesting concept as one of the last surviving M1 MBT and M2 Bradley IFV vehicles and crews left.  Be there at the beginning to help make it happen...
