Still here...just a bit out of the loop.  Had dental surgery and having a bit of black out episodes.
Should be back to normal on Saturday (that is when the meds are done)

real loopy and drowsy. think I have slept more past 2 days than have been a wake.  and except for a few small flashes I do not know how long the surgery was or getting home.  I mean I know my sis brought me home and I think she gave me some apple sauce but no idea who dressed me for bed or when I got there.

Been there, done that. Best thing for you is rest. Being knocked out leave you with a "hang over" for a few days. Get well soon though. :)

oh this week got even better yesterday.
at 430 am-ish some whacked out guy tried breaking into my apt.  I live on a first floor condo I have been here nearly 25 years, I own it it's mine.  He stumbles on my porch wakes me up out of a sound sleep I get up and check thinking it might be a neighbor - nope some defective who slurred speech tells me this place is his and who am I and why am I in his house.  I tell him to go away and close the curtain so he can't see me.  the flings my stuff everywhere on the deck and I think he sat on one of my already broken rose bushes (so hope he got thorns).  pounds on my door and yelling.  I yell for him to go away and start calling 911.  my new upstairs neighbors also call 911 I found out later.  he tries crawling through my catdoor.  In the ten minutes I am on the phone with 911 waiting for the police (nearly 10 minutes....9 minutes too long in my opinion) he manages to get the cat door panel pushed in and gets an arm inside. I had armed myself with a very large screw driver (nearest weapon to the phone - I was planning on stabbing him if I had too, thank god I didn't).  Right then the cops showed up (3 since he was getting aggressive) and they wound up hauling his butt off.  scared me silly and left me frazzled so called in sick, plus had to clean up.  I don't know if he was drunk or high or what.  Took me 6 hours to work up courage to take a quick shower.  I do have a apt but when I come home I'll make posts.  Was going to yesterday, but had to clean instead, luckily no major damage like a broken door.

Post here any time someone spooks you, so we can provide proof if need be!

Hi....back home now.  gads it is depressing.  from hot, sunny 70-75 to well...too dark to tell yet mid 30's.
My fossil kitty is happy to see me though.

 I am trying to help save a friends live for now, driving him to heart specialists and doctors appointments. He has 87% congestive heart failure, with a leaky valve. He needs microsurgery in Indianapolis if we can get him there. We are hoping to give him another 5 years of life.

 If any of you would care to pray for a friend of a friend, I would appreciate it.

Well...another fun day for me.
In the last episode of 'how crappy is my life' I was home invaded by some drunk ass dude who believed I was the invader in his house.  Police hauled his ass away.  Yeay Cops!!!, then a few days later went on a vaycay.  That was good save for the sniper shooter in Vegas and California being burned up.  Now this morning I got up to someone hacking, horking, and making rather disgusting noises outside.  Noone on my deck so that was fine.  I assumed it was a neighbor puking from too much partying (real life it happens, right?).  okay get ready for work.  One of the last things I do before leaving is open my blinds so cat has some daylight (not that there is any at 530am here).  I see a couple of neighbors out to warm up their cars (I cheat and got remote start).  They are looking over at something I cannot see, but can hear.  there is still someone horking and puking.  Okay being a nice person I assume this person is in trouble and go call 911.  They reply they have already had several calls and confirm address.  Okay get my coat and boots on and start to go out to my car.  5 cop cars are there, talking to someone who is not from our building are 6 officers.  one car is parked blocking me in.  call work that I'll be late (was by about 10 minutes).  finally go out and ask one officer as to which officer was in the car blocking me.  they politely go and move it.  Not the same guy who busted into my place a few weeks ago, thank god.  still one officer was the same one who arrested that guy, and remembered me.  get to work.  an hour or so later cops call me at work.  want a statement, fun.  guys is hauled off.

I have lived in this apt for over 25 years (owned nearly 20).  This is the most trouble I have seen here ever.  what is wrong with some of these people now a days?  Are they just fricking stupid? Or just don't care anymore?

@Stardancer - Hey, sorry to hear about that.  Hopefully, those were just two weird instances and not some emerging pattern of some kind.  On the bright side, it's good to hear that you have neighbours who care enough to call 911.  Do you know them well?

@Fairaday - I'm sorry about your friend.  I hope he can get that surgery and that it goes well.
