Yeah I miss Bruto a lot, Star.  He was in my Lords of Creation game too, and just disappeared.  I think his last log in there was in February :(  Hopefully we will get things going in the New Year here, but in the meantime:

My neighbor's heart procedure seems to be slowly getting better. Thank Goodness.

My cold turned into sinus infection, and insurance got canceled so no doctor visits or medications in my future. Been off my antidepressants for about a month and it's been hard to cope. I am trying hard to get back.

take your time and be careful.  had a cold like that just after Halloween.  mine went into acute bronchitis.  No fun when you cannot breath.  Get the nose right strips..allows you to breath more through your nose.  Drink lots and lots of liquids..warm tea w/ honey, chicken broth it great I found.  If it is in your throat take a warm shot of whisky kill those germs.  First thing is take care of yourself first

 I've been using saline nasal spray and nasal strips and trying keeping a pan of water on the stove. It's worse when I lay down to sleep (changing positions) or when I get upright in the mornings or after naps. Altoids Smalls helped my throat too but I've run out of them. My ribs are sore from coughing. I even strained my tongue coughing, who knew? I can't take over the counter meds for colds etc either, because most will screw with my prescription meds. :/

 Oh well, just another cross to bear.

Sorry folks, but our friend Rinaldo isn't coming back. I spoke to him the day before yesterday and he's lost his way and doesn't seem to be interested trying to find his way back in. This is official. :(

Ok. I am sorry to say, but it seems as if this game has stalled. Is ANYONE still willing to continue working on it? If so, we need to bring you all together in the cavern/tunnel. If not, we will probably close it. Let me know.

I am.  You could do a complete reboot.  perhaps an entire new game?  I'll save Stardancer and trans over if need be

I admit our posting rate has become so sporadic and infrequent that I have lost most of the excitement I had for the story.  I am very uncertain, but I suppose I am willing to try if there are at least a couple others are also on board.  We'd have to have a posting rate of at least once a week though, to accomplish anything at all.

Star is an enthusiastic and loyal player, and a very reliable poster.  Crow and Motoko haven't posted since October, Sparrow hasn't posted since November, We've lost Bruto and Rinaldo entirely, and Mariasha and Zana too.  You can't get anywhere if your posting rate is once every other month.

I have played with Sparrows player in other games and her post rate is very slow.  at times like one every 2 weeks.

I've been checking out the game, but honestly, my interest in it has dwindled by now.

Most of that is my fault but the start-and-stop nature of it (for which I am partially responsible, obviously) and the fact that my slave character can't seem to hold on to a master for very long hasn't helped.

I've been wondering what to do with the game for a while, and it was unfair to leave you all hanging. You all have my heartfelt apologies. I probably should have formally withdrawn.

well I am here, and still having fun.  though I admit with only a few other players posting it makes it rather hard.

Ok. I would be interested in running a game using your same characters if you want, or new characters. We'd start where you left off in the tunnels, but from there on, the game would take you away from where you are now, and take you...elsewhere...   Traveling out there somewhere...

Let me know who would be interested in that.

Ok, you two were the ones we most worried about. If Crow or Motoko wants to join in, we will welcome them too. Your characters can stay the same, or change somewhat, or you can do new ones. It won't be the same game, but your histories can stay the same if you wish.
