the dwarf hits and BADLY injures you but your on your feet... for now... the commander has killed several dwarves but it seems things are going against you allready...

Arminna lunges at the dwarf. hitting its armor solidly again but failing to pierce it.

the priestess commander grits her teeth and shouts out "WITHDRAW!!! WITHDRAW!!!" snarling "this isnt over YET!" at the dwarves

Arminna hears the command and steps back from the dwarf, holding her sword in a defensive position.

the dwarves try giving chase... but your able to flee at good pace... the commander Yells "lets get things fortified..." she pauses "we'll need to heal the wounded... and prepare to hold the next fort... but make no mistake THEIR WILL be a next time

Arminna nods at her commander's words, tending to the others as needed before healing herself.

she pauses "know anything about ranged weapons... I know this isnt very honorable... but if we get attacked here... we rely on a series of traps.we usualy try to use arrows to shoot them from a distance... we cant afford to waste too many of our drow.

"Yes, Ma'am.  I am familiar with the long bow; I just don't have one with me," Arminna replies.

she sounds the alarm and says "Get Here sister lets see if I can even the odds

splashes holy water amongst you you feel vigor and eilistraees power

Arminna smiles as she feels the power of the Dark Maiden in the blessing, and looks around for a bow and quiver.

she finds it and the dwarves are coming


but she has a clear shot.... and hmmmn AC 6 at the moment their shields are all pretty useless... and their having to navigate traps.

Arminna lines up a shot at one of the oncoming dwarves and lets loose two sheaf arrows.

the dwarf falls down dead and the senior priestess smiles "good shot! keep it up we just have to tire them out!the dwarves rally themselves and press onward.

"Yes, Ma'am," Arminna replies as she lines up her next shot.  Unfortunately, the dwarf dodges out of the way both times, and the arrows skitter across the tunnel floor.

hes getting closer but is stil maybe 20 feet short when shes next able to knock an arrow...

Arminna fires her bow twice more, but is unable to score a hit again.  Frustrated, she drops her bow and draws her sword to meet the oncoming dwarf.

the dwarf misses unable to get even close thankfully... now it is your turn to fight once more...

Arminna swings at the dwarf, but her haste in drawing her weapon has her off-balance and she misses with the swing.

the dwarf swings with his axe but a stalacite gets in his way and he is open to another blow from you.

Arminna manages to swing through the dwarf's defenses, but doesn't catch much of the dwarf with her sword.

he attacks her again and misses...

You feel a mysterious strengh flow into you ... your not sure why....

you see silvery moonfire clining to your skin banishing what little fatigue you felt utterly and you find new purpose, certainty, and strengh of purpose.


(+4 to attack rolls +2 to AC for next 4 rounds (I decided to grant you a bit of divine favor sorry but I wanted to speed up this battle lol)

Despite the surge, Arminna's next swing misses badly.
