In reply to Tyler Gabriel Hope (msg # 10):
The little convoy turned left from Fraser Highway onto 248 St. It was largely farm country, with fairly good 2-lane blacktop roads. Plenty of trees interspersed with open fields, farm houses (ranch style, 2 story suburban style and some really huge luxury homes) and stretches of forest. The road was often lined by trees, fences and overgrown hedges, as well as deep ditches common to agricultural areas.
Houses were becoming more common, and the farms seemed to have once been more vegetable and fruit farms separated by belts of trees and hedges. They travelled north for a couple klicks. When they passed the intersection with 54 Ave, the V-100's turret commander turned around and signalled for them to slow down. Outside, they could hear gunfire up ahead. A merc technical was stopped in the middle of the road, trees on either side. It mounted a .50 MG but the crew seemed dead and the vehicle abandoned. A rusty car was parked on the right shoulder, also abandoned-looking, doors open, engine left running.
Up ahead (north), 248 ran through a belt of forest, there were shallow weed-choked drainage ditches on either side. To the right were several houses and neglected greenhouses behind tall unkempt hedges. To the left were the remains of rows of tattered clear plastic-covered berry fields.
GM Note: Your position is just north of 54 Ave and 248 St:
