Furesh Scout: Crow

Aboard the Crow technicians and dock workers finished installing the extra modules to the sleek oddly shaped Cesti scout. Many workers had difficulty with the odd stairs and raps used between decks and making their connections in systems designed for a race with eyes that saw more wavelengths than Human eyes.
The slightly squashed decks made the little ship seem claustrophobic, although the constant stir of air and the scent of woven grass mats that lined the walls and decks seemed to make the snug little ship almost homey. The humanoid habitat module was by comparison almost sterile the blue while light and plastic padding on the walls, and hatchways, lacked the earthy feel of the Cesti compartments and the sometimes stale air seemed to rob the quarters of warmth or comfort.

” Who in the hell wired this interface?” One tech swore as she tried to decipher the comma and squiggle script of the diagram.Anyone ever teach these hair balls Avandii?”

” You mean the carnivorous, three hundred pound throat ripping, entrail eating hair balls,” Another tech shook his head.” Has it occurred to you that this ship packs a gravitic induction drive two plasma cannons and a missile bay that looks like it came off of a Terran battle cruiser?  Where else can you get a scout armed like a strike ship?”

Raul arrives at the Crow, and takes the ship in. Guess this will be home for a while. Might as well get my stuff into my compartment. Raul then boards the ship. He gets his gear situated into his small living quarters, and then heads over to the lab module to see what all it has been equipped with.

Re: Furesh Scout: Crow

A rythmic thumping of footsteps announces Aziza's arrival. Not because she makes so much noise, but because a robot has come with her, huge and stumpy on two legs with a single simple arm where the head would be on a humanoid machine.  It's rather clearly been built from old trash recovered from a recycle bin, it's body appears to be a discarded foot locker and the legs are made of different materials.
At the moment, the robot is busily carrying Aziza's new supply of explosives.
Entering a stupidly long passcode, Aziza precedes the robot inside the airlock and carefully stows the explosives in one compartment, and the detonators in another.  No use risking a million-to-one accident during high-speed maneuvers.
Finishing the dangerous job of handling the explosives, Aziza heads to see what butchery the human so-called techs have done to her ship.

Re: Furesh Scout: Crow

" Oh!! Hello..." A young Tae woman stood up closing her tool kit," I was worried there for a minute... She laughed as she closed the pannel she wa working on." Jackers love to grab these scouts, refit them for Piracy, thought you were one of them.". she sighed as she stood up and motioned around the Module.

This is one hell of a set up, looks like your going to be doing something serious in here." She looked at a shelf containing disection and autospy knives and saws. So you guys heading ou somewhere?"

Re: Furesh Scout: Crow

"It is being difficult for humanoids to fly this vessel kind until proper modifications are being made." Aziza replies.  "You are in lack of enough hands"
Speaking of hands reminds Aziza of the human customs and she holds up one of her claws to the Tae.  "My name is being Aziza.  And is yours being?"
