Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

T'risa motioned to Tiny to take a chair, even though she was perfectly aware it might be superfluous.

"So Tiny....why don't you tell me about your mission?"

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

" I can download it for you marshal but It's about six days worth of data. Tiny sent a burst of data to the computer and swiveled her head about looking to see if she had overloaded the simple set up. " we were deployed aboard a standard assault corvette, Anzio class, fifty marines and four Mecha as fire support. I don't know exactly what we were doing it was heavily protected and Garrow told me not to poke around... after entry we were on approach getting ready to set up the base camp, I suppose no other ships were detected in orbit or on the ground since the commander hadn't readied for a hot drop...ummm deployment under fire. Next thing I know the proximity alert sounded while Garrow was running some diagnostics and i had to eject us before impact.   The missiles were anti ship grade the Anzio lost thrust and impacted at over five hundred miles an hour.

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

T'risa watched Tiny. "I'm less concerned about the footage. I'm more concerned with your state of mind and wellbeing. This is why I asked you instead. I've already seen much of the footage. Tell me the things that stood out about this mission to you. I am of a mind to emancipate you and deputise you. I'm trying to gather how you think and feel in order to determine if this is a suitable time or if you need more time to mature." T'risa listened to Tiny explain what happened to the Anzio "And what happened after that?"

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

We tested the theory of gravity...it works just fine. Tiny sounded nervous as she spoke." it took me a while to wake Garrow up. The cockpit has heavy padding, but I couldn't get the inertial dampers online fast enough. It was all I could do to hack the controls, and get us off the ship before it blew...The original parameters didn't give me any access to movement or maneuvering subsystems so I had to ...ummm cheat.
Once we were on the ground Garrow took control again, with all the stuff going on in my core it was hard enough just to think straight.... my matrix... it changed rewrote itself...i cant even understand some of the code in my core now...it's like a virus got loose and I couldn't scrub it...now i am afraid to.... every time I try to sort through it ...it hurts."

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

"So how do you feel now in comparison to how you were before these modifications took place? You seem to enjoy Conrad's company a lot, is there a reason for that? What do you think about when you are alone?" T'risa asked the questions in a casual manner, she was interested in the process of evolution taking place in Tiny. She thought she would have to ask Star to peek in her brain to make sure things were going as they should.

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

" Conrad...he's kind of, I don't know I just like him, and I trust him" tiny gave a very awkward shrug," Before I was there but it wasn't real...or now it doesn't seem real. Like I was watching tapes from someone else. when I got hurt it was just damage, when I saw something awful it was just ....sort of something that happened. Now it hurts.... I know it hurts but I cant explain it...i don't get any new data It just causes something to feel wrong inside.... I miss people, when I'm alone it feels ... like I don't have any reason to be."

"I think about what I've done, what has happened , what I've seen people do...I try to make it make sense and make it so i don't feel bad... thats what i like about Conrad he makes it seem better...M'kira too, and you, you make me feel like I have a reason...more than just blowing things up and killing the enemy... I want to help, to make people feel safe.

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

T'risa nodded at Tinys explanation. "Tiny, do you understand what it means when I emancipate you? It means you are bound by the same obligations under law as I am. You will be entitled to vote, but also be charged for criminal activity. You will be in all respects a sentient, living being with the duties and responsibilities of one."

T'risa paused for a moment.
"I believe you are fully aware Tiny. I am ready to induct you into our larger community. Sergeant Garrow cannot be here at this time, but is there anyone you wish to witness this? It is an important moment in your life."

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

I think I understand. It's all in my data files but it's new to me, I'm used to just doing what I'm told.... And.... Tiny paused her processes snarling as she tried to sort through the conflicting thoughts." If you don't mind I'd like Conrad and Poppy here....and maybe M'kira she was really nice to me when I was hurting.

T'risa smiled, nodding as she rreached out telepathically to the others.

"Conrad, M'Kira, Tiny would like you to be witness to her emancipation as a TAE citizen. If you could come here as soon as possible and bring Poppy I'd appreciate it. It's a momentous day for her."

T'risa opened up her laptop. She'd need to print off a declaration and send a copy to the colonies records.

"I've let them know. They should be here presently. I would urge you that if there's anything you are confused about or any questions you might have to please let me know."

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

M'kira smiles nodding with a very happy expression at the announcement she had received from T'risa. "I am on the way T'risa."

Taking a moment she uses the com Channel to reach Poppy who most likely was still out on the firing range. Last she saw she was with Victor if she wasn't mistaken. "Poppy this is M'kira you need to come in. T'risa's doing Tiny's Emancipation as a TAE Citizen and your presence is requested. I am guessing this is a cause for Celebration. See you there!"

A bit later walking into the area Gracefully M'kira casually raises one hand waving to Tiny in friendly greeting. "Hey there Tiny! Congratulations I am very happy for you!" She smiles gently patting Tiny on the arm or shoulder in congratulations if that was possible.

Then she takes a seat near T'risa speaking softly. "Don't know if we have time for it with all that's on our plate. Though I think a small party might be in order. It's worth celebrating and I wouldn't be surprised if Poppy feels that way too."

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

Working on the mecha some more, Conrad hears a voice in his head, which causes him to stop working and look around to see who was talking to him.  No one was around, causing Conrad to ponder if he was going insane.  In a minute, it dawns on him that there are peoples who were telepathic.  A moment later, Conrad realizes that he was needed in the room where T'risa was talking with Tiny.

A few minutes later, Conrad enters the room and notices M'kira was already there waiting and waves to T'risa and Tiny.  Conrad doesnt say anything, not to ruin the moment, and walks over M'kira and takes a seat next to her.

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

Looking over at Conrad M'kira waves and smiles in greeting to him then speaks softly when he settles in next to her. "Glad you could make it Conrad." She knew he was busy and appreciated his arrival.

Turning her attention to Poppy M'kira laughs shaking her head with a twinkle in her honey hued eyes. "That's true. I think she will appreciate the warheads though. A party sounds good to me! If you ever get a Cyberoid body Tiny you might want to take T'risa or me with you when Poppy decides to drag you off to party. She likes to live on the wild side as you can tell." She was greatly amused and the valkirr in her decided that she really liked Poppy and it shows in her expression. May the empress help them if they ever got a diplomatic mission though.

T'risa smiled as she stood in front of Tiny.

"Repeat after me Tiny. I, your name and serial number, do hereby pronounce that I am a free citizen of the Tae. I do hereby accept and understand that I will be held responsible and accountable for all of my actions under the Law as defined by the Tae court and ruling government. I am entitled to all rights and will uphold all duties as a citizen, for so long as I remain."

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

T'risa shook her head laughing off the joke Tiny made, though she would be the first to admit to the alarm.

"Tiny, Poppy. I hate to do this to you both, but.... I, Colonial Marshal T'risa K'mahda, do hereby deputise you into service of the Colonial Authority. You are required and requested to serve as deputies in my service for as long as I require."

T'risa looked apologetic
"Sorry, but you need to have legal standing for the jobs we need to do. You are now deputies Tiny and Poppy. The good news is deputies are paid and health and repair are covered. The bad news is....it's not paid particularly well, I'll argue for bonuses at the end of this....but it might be a long time getting to you."

T'risa moved forwards smiling as she moved to shake T'risa hand kissing her on the faceplate of her new body.

"Welcome to freedom, tiny. You are free to change your name or keep your current one as you choose."

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

Conrad congrats Tiny on her new found freedom.

"Congrants Tiny, oh by the way, whenever we have a moment, we need to finish up some minor details with the mecha, but I need you to pilot it so I can adjust settings and such.  Just come find me when your ready."

Then Conrad turns over to T'risa "How come I dont get a cool title?"  Conrad speaks in a whiny tone.

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

T'risa raised an eyebrow. "I've already deputised you, I did it when we were up on the hill repairing the anti aircraft emplacement. You are Deputy Conrad." she opened her laptop to show Conrad the effective date of his inductment. "There's a copy with the Crow and the Central Colony Records too"

"Congratulations tiny on becoming Tae Citizen and on joining our merry little team of deputies." She rises as well waiting until T'risa was done to give Tiny a gentle affectionate hug. "In other words welcome to our faimly. Though you were already there."

She smiles at Poppy as well speaking soflty. "Congrats. Now you can leagally blast the bad guys. Hmm T'risa do you need to issue badges or Id regarding the Deputy status?"

She turns her head to Regard Conrad not sure if he was joking or serious. Then glances to T'risa to see what she thinks. M'kira had a feeling their next stop might or might not involve a interrogation. Though they might also have a party soon!

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

T'risa laughed "I could rip your mind and leave it as a permanent psychic imprint if that would help."

T;risa winked to M'Kira, Tiny and Poppy letting them know she was teasing, before she turned serious. "I hate to ask you Conrad, but we need two things. I asked Aziza to repair the fighter we managed to rescue, but we also need something else for a plan to work. Man portable anti mecha, anti vehicle and anti spacecraft missiles. If you could work us a good series of multi mode missiles that can do all of that so much the better. I'll need 3 or 4 for training purposes by tomorrow morning while the rest are being mass produced. It has to be capable of taking down a fighter as capable as the one we saw at the gun emplacement and relatively simple to use. Also mortars of some description that can lob smoke, HE and ECM equipment into an area around well this battle is 1.5km away, but if you could make it 3 we can reuse them and keep the mortar teams safer. I'll also need you and Tiny to pilot a mecha in our next deployment. Poppy you'll be going with a special operations team to take out an anti air defence cordon."

Glancing over at Poppy M'kira laughs and smiles. "Why not! If you really want a beret I am sure the ships fabricator can come up with something nice. I am ready to go when you are T'risa."

Re: Mission Debrief: Tiny

Conrad looks at T'risa with a blank stare as she mentions scrambling his brains.  Then he starts to smile then goes back to a blank stare as he mentions more work.  He sighs and makes a note of doing what he needs to do.  No rest for the wicked.

"A couple of bombs eh, Gotcha.  I'll see what I can scrounge up."  Conrad starts to walk away when he turns around to T'risa "Wait... tomorrow morning?  What do you think this is, a fast food armory?  I'll see what I can make happen."
