GM for Shadowrun, Earthdawn, etc

I’m looking for a GM interested in running a game for me. I have a game set up (link to another game ) where we can play. I have a few ideas that interest me, and I’d actually like to play all of them; however, I must insist that you, as GM, agree that if you decide to ditch the game I can “hire” another GM to pick up where you left off (after a reasonable amount of time, of course). I’d also like to request that if you can’t handle GMing a game, you don’t request that I accept you as GM... I’m sure you can understand that starting a game only to have it die immediately is frustrating. (It would also help to know how often you can post... I'm pretty open right now, but odds are my schedule will change in the future. I'd like to be able to post at a reasonable rate - for both of us.)

I’ve set the game rating as “mature” because I am, and I want the story to be as well. I don’t want hard-core sex, and see no particular reason for graphic gore. We can discuss if you really think I need to change the rating, but I can’t imagine why I will.

The games that I’d like to play:

1: Shadowrun. Third edition rules, but starting around 2052-ish. I hate what Fourth has done to the world. I’d like to play a character that is a wage slave to one of the megas, who travels around the world as a “problem solver” or “consultant” (read: shadowrunner). I’m open, but travel to foreign lands is definitely a must.

2:  Earthdawn. I don’t care which edition, but all of my books are locked away in storage ATM anyway, so I’ll need help with character creation either way. ED isn’t really created for individual “groups,” so we’ll need to work out how to work on that. Scouts and Thieves are pretty easy to make loners, but most of the other Disciplines can be made independent with a little more effort (whether they can survive independently is a bit more questionable).

I’m always up for a good D6 Star Wars or low-level GURPS game, but my SW books are locked away with my ED books and creating GURPS characters gives me a massive trig headache (who invents a game where you have to figure out the cubed root of something? Seriously, go read GURPS Robots.). Feel free to PM me any suggestions you have, but know that you’ll probably have to help me.

Please only respond to this in PMs in the game Per Aspera (link to another game ), and only if you’re interested in serving as a GM.
