D&D 3.5 - Home for an odd/slightly powerful character

I wrote this character up based on rules for another game, but the GM of that game has been absent for quite some time, and hasn't even replied to me. Even if he does reply at this point, I have my doubts about his game's pacing and stability. His game had a number of house rules which I would likely want to run with, and the character I wrote also has a small dose of custom material I strongly wish to use, though given I did opt to balance her with flaws, I think it likely to be reasonable.

I think it best to list the rules tweaks here since they are conditional to the character working without a lot of modification. I am open to a small game of players in either a storyline or sandbox format. The game's general premise was a magical guild for casters of both arcane and divine magic, which accepted quest commissions and magical item orders. The GM's rules stated that XP could be earned not only via combat, but also roleplay and crafting magical items, but he did not list restrictions or guidelines on the math of this. I'd settle for items just not costing any XP to craft, since part of my concept revolved around being a magical crafter.

The character in question is a Warlock, themed to reflect being a Silverbrow Human (Descendant of a Silver Dragon and a human). and I intended to go Warlock 15 or 16, Chameleon 4-5. I was going to specifically flavor her warlock powers as draconic abilities due to unusually strong silver blood in her veins, and her flaws were going to include Cold-Blooded and Lightweight.

I don't want to get too deep into the exact details here, but the gist of the tweaks are as follows:

Unique flaw that makes every Eldritch Blast cold energy until level 5, then requires every blast you use that doesn't have a different essence to use Hellrime Blast. You also have to select Cold as one of your class energy resistances, and can't also choose fire.

That also provided a Unique Feat: Draconic Warlock: Counts as a Draconic Feat, and allows you to purchase other draconic feats as if you had the Dragon Heritage feat and were a sorcerer of your Warlock Class Level. At Level 5, you get Hellrime Blast for free, at level 10, you get Eldritch Cone for free. When you use Eldritch Cone, you treat it like a draconic breath weapon, and need to roll 1d4 to see how soon you can use the cone again. Your other warlock powers are also reflavored (and at GM discretion may deal Cold Damage), to fit the icy/silver dragon theme.

She was going to begin at first level in the other game, but I'd be willing to start as high as 6th level, when she can first start making some minor magic items. I definitely want a bit of flex and room to mix and match the flavor of magic items, and maybe even combine them into the same slot.

The character does have a plot involving the murder of her mother by exploitative bandits who discovered their Silverbrow secrets, and she has met her father in disguise, though doesn't quite realize it. She wants to one day meet him, and to perhaps get revenge on the roguish merchants who wanted to harvest her family for rare draconic reagents for mages. I intended on her being either Chaotic Good or Neutral to start, but I intended her to shift more toward Lawful Good (warlocks chaotic requirement bugs me sometimes, with concepts like this)

I can commit to a good 2-5 solid posts per week, depending on the back and forth, and can possibly exceed that, but that's going to be the baseline for me, due to a large degree of uncertainty in my schedule currently. I can definitely meet the minimum 2 without question. I'd be alright with a Solo experience, but a small number of additional players might help to round things out.

Also worth noting: She is neither a clawlock nor a glaivelock, and is intended to focus more omn making magic items and her dragon themes.

Seems like an interesting idea.  Are you looking predominately for a game with role playing or combat?
