Final Fantasy-esque, epic game?

I would love to play a epic, sprawling, grandiose fantasy similar in fashion to the Final Fantasy games. I'm open as far as setting and system, but I'd prefer to avoid the sandbox concept and shoot for a more linear, storytelling experience.  Anyone else interested?

Final fantasy ... that covers... a lot of ground.

Everything from the goofyness of ring of Fates or mystic Quest,  to the extreme seriousness of 12 and 13.

sorry just my 2 cents.

Im overloaded with games as is right now, sadly.

I'm up for it, I can easily create a world and everything, but I don't think I'm up for being main GM for it. If I have to, then I will, but otherwise...

Well, the reference to Final Fantasy is more relevant to the overall plot structure of the games (scope, focus on cast and character development, etc.) and less on pure content. As far as content goes, I mostly just want a good story.

I found a homebrew final Fantasy module for Pathfinder. I've never run a Pathfinder game but I've played it for a few years, might be willing to give running it a try.
