Relaxed (at least combat-wise) Exalted game

I'm looking for an Exalted game... but since I'm picky and whiny, I actually have a whole bunch of requests for it.
I know, I know. I'm a terrible person.

  • Age rating
I'm fine with any of them, but I'd lean towards Adult for the wider variety of themes that lets explore; more importantly, I'd like the group to be composed of adults able to discuss things civilly. I know, wishful thinking.
  • Edition
I'll have to go with 2.5 here, mostly for the wider variety of material published; I'm fine with 3 if we decide to try out a few of the fanmade adaptations of non-solar splats around.. but for the rest of this topic, I'll go on assuming I'm talking 2.5.
  • Chargen and Advancement
Either experience-based chargen or BP-based advancement or any other weird voodoo you might like that axes the BP/XP disparity. Screw that noise. Also everyone should use the same advancement tables, even if there's different splats around. Free excellencies? Free excellencies.
  • Genre:
My personal favourite is the sandbox-in-an-actual-world, with events that happen and go on with or without PC intervention - and I'm pretty sure that's when Exalted is at its best. But if you have cool plots in mind I'm more than willing to listen.
  • Setting
I'm pretty open here. Standard setting, Spessxalted and Modern all have interesting points about them, as well as the bazillion variations and takes on them.
  • Splats
In an ideal world, I'd say 'anything'. In a more realistic one, I have to say that my favourite point on the power curve (and coincidentally, thematics) is around Infernals, Lunars and Alchemicals so I'd ballpark the game around there.. which actually means Infernals and Lunars in a standard-setting game. Theoretically, Sidereals play at roughly the same tier but a combination of jacked-up chargen for non-ronin, of a wonky charmset that often doesn't know what it's trying to achieve and of completely keyword-less resplendant destinies make their practical placement a bit troublesome.
That, and loyalists get like a month of vacation per year.
  • Homebrew-friendliness
Heavy: there's whole bunches of fanmade yozi trees out there waiting to be played with, as well as boatloads of charms.. not to mention whatever we might end up cooking on our own. I'd really love to get to toy with them.
  • Themes
Combat-light, please. Or at least combat-easy. Pushing hard on the combat - as tempting as it is with a cursory glance at the game - really shows all the grinding, barely-functioning gears it's built onto, while keeping things easier would allow people to still feel awesome without boring mote-accounting and always-the-same combat routines. Furthermore, combat is a cumberous beast, and it sits pretty heavily on the already slow medium of play by post. Occasional trips to Discord to fix that problem would be appreciated, but not mandatory.
That out of the way - Power, the nature of power and the morality of those in power should be the main theme - maybe with touches (or more than touches) of transhumanism ("If I'm a Lunar, and I can engineer future generations of humans to all have the hearing of a cat, should I? I mean, it's an improvement on all fronts, but do I have the right?" should be a legitimate question characters ask themselves before starting to engineer their army of catgirl ninjas). City and empire building is as always a fun part of exalted, as are over the top martial arts duels and impossible romances.
  • Other house rules
Can be discussed in-game - for example, I believe Infernals should get more favored yozi the more charmsets are unlocked, in order to keep roughly 2/5 of their available charms discounted.. and Lunars probably want something a tiny bit more empowering than the current Solar Bond.
  • Assorted Notes
I'm fine with a solo game, I'm fine with a group game, I'm fine with solo adventures for multiple players in different parts of the world who regularly keep in touch and occasionally meet for grand adventures and maybe to punch each other in friendship.
Active Elder Exalts should probably be extremely busy with their own stuff, killed off in a fire or otherwise made explicitly unable to mess too much with the kids having fun.
The initial chapters of MoEP - Infernals should probably be at least, let's say.. retouched.. a bit.
