I'm hoping to get into at least one or two more AD&D games but I'm only familiar with 1st and 2nd edition rules.  I've been RPing for years I just don't have any materials for 3rd edition or higher.  If anyone doesn't mind a rules noob I'd really like to get into a few more games.

I think it depends what you like about AD&D. I have played all versions, and will happily play all versions but for fourth.

3.5 and PF can be a lot more 'munchkiny' for some; and, with the exception of the removal of THACO, they're probably more complicated. Now if you don't mind that, I do have a game with only 5 characters at the moment, which I could fit a sixth player into. The players in it are all seasoned players; and they would all be willing to help out a new player, as would I.

My only older edition game doesn't really have room in it for an extra player unfortunately.

I like the game itself...the characters/races, the monsters, the world, etc.  The rules are really secondary to me (at least when I'm DMing), I'm more about the actual role-playing and character development.  Again, I've been playing for years I just don't know any other rule systems above 2nd, so basically you'd just have to tell me what to roll lol.

My first edition AD&D game can always use another solid poster. Take a look and see what you think.
