Vampire: the Requiem 2e?

I just finally got my hands on Secrets of the Covenants and would love an opportunity to finally get to play 2e Vampire the Requiem. Is anyone up for running a game? I would be fine with playing one-on-one with an interested ST, but would prefer to play with a group.

I'm fine with just about any concept, but I'm particularly interested in playing a member of the Circle of the Crone, and would like a game either focused around the covenant, or at least set in a territory where it would be possible for my character to explore Cruac and their dark spirituality. The game would probably need to be Adult rated. I'd also like an ST willing to work with homebrew bloodlines (which is fairly necessary right now, since there are so few officially converted 2e bloodlines).

I'd also be interested in trying. I mostly played VtM though not as much as I'd like, and I've been reading the 2nd Ed of VtR a lot recently and the system is neatly streamlined and interesting enough.

If I run a VtR game, I'd use my own house rules. I was looking to run one about a month ago, but got no interest in it.

There's my house rules. (ignore the VtM folder. It's for running VtM in the CoD system)

I don't have any problem with those house rules. I'll admit I'm really not a fan of bringing Generation into VtR, but I could deal with it (or was that just a part of the VtM conversion?)

It looks like you'd have two people if you wanted to run it now!

It's a bit of both. Generation exists in and of the fact that a Sire's Blood Potency now matters. (it also takes longer to gain over time, and is capped at 5 without a Merit, or  a high BP Sire) Generation is, also, less certain. Lineages count their Generations from their mythic Founders, but each Generation does not correspond to a Merit dot. Mechanically, it increases the natural range of possible Blood Potency, and gives some merit bonuses each rank. (Much like say, Destiny does. It gives a pool of dice that can be added to Disciplines per story.)

But VtM Generation it is not.

I'd personally like to try the game RAW before adding house rules, so if you wanna do that then count me out. No hard feelings. :P

I've got you all covered.

Started in June of 2015, Detroit: Broken Traditions has evolved into massive open sandbox style game with over 15k posts.  For the first time since the game initially closed its doors, I am actively recruiting a new coterie of between 3-6 Vampires to join my existing players in facing the dark.

Potential applicants will create their coterie within the OOC threads, learning about this history of the various Covenants and working their backstories into something that makes narrative sense both with the story thus far and with each other.  Once characters are fleshed out and created they will be integrated into the main game.  That means there is going to be a lot of reading and collaboration required from applicants in the opening stages.  A lot has happened in Detroit so far, and you're going to need to get caught up.

This is typically a very active game, so applicants should be ready to post on a fairly frequent schedule.  For the first six months or so we were a multiple times a day sort of game, but I've slowed down a little due to personal matters so you don't have to post quite so frantically.  Still, if you are interested in an active game and think you can keep up, we'd love to have you.
