Changeling 20th Anniversary
So its a thing, if you have your books lets do some play testing!

Nothing too serious can be a series of 'one shots' involving a circle of like minded Changeling geeks!

Let me know!

Changeling 20th Anniversary
Along the border of the Fate-Scar (a region of New Mexico which has been rendered a chimerical waste land due to nuclear tests and some say inexpert use of Soothsay), a string of Kithain keeps look out over the twisted geography of Abenstein, New Mexico. These freehold-fortresses house battle-hardened warriors, who frequently switch between defending their kin from rapacious fate-burnt nightmares which emerge from the Fate-Scar and conducting suicide missions into the heart of the chaos in attempts to stem it at its source.

One of the Abenstein's better-kept secrets is the power that allows them keep the dream spun nightmares from slipping over their borders and completely overrunning the county. Each fortress houses a powerful ward stone, forged in the hectic days which predated the High King's peace. These ward stones are the keys to the survival of the county. Legend say that these powerful treasures were formed from the rarefied life-blood of sidhe sacrifice and reality would seem to support that claim for each of the ward stones has vast and terrifying powers (and some would say a sliver of a personality).

The lynchpin of the stones power lies within the mighty grip of the Duke Tangar Stormwind, ruler of the powerful freehold, Joyous Guard. Joyous Gauard enjoys protecting by the mysterious Eventide Society of House Scathach and under that House's shadowy guidance has created an order of kithain warriors known as the Scarlet Sentinels who fight against the terrors of the scar.  As long as they stand, Abenstein, New Mexico is safe from the marauding hordes.

But should the Sentinels ever fall, the county and perhaps even the Kingdom is doomed!

There were 2684 backers. Surely more than 3 are on RPOL...

It's possible, of course, but not necessarily a given.

Re: Changeling 20th Anniversary
I've been reading the 20th Anniversary book this evening and fell in love with the setting all over again. I'm actually am working on a game that I have titled 'Never Grow Up!' if anyone would be interested? I have tried running a Changeling the Dreaming game on another site and it flopped due to people dropping out, but I could give it a shot if you're patient with a newer Storyteller.

I'll try and get it up tonight and add more things as I go. It should be in Wanted Players. I'm so excited!

In reply to Violetpanda (msg # 7):

Awesome. Just be aware that RPOL is like so many other online RPG sites, you're going to get a lot of initial interest, and lots of players dropping out. If the game you have in mind can't handle a lot of turn over, you're going to be in trouble.

Oh...Lovely....That sort of thing makes me wonder the point of GMing something like Changeling if it sounds like I'm going to be running a bunch of one shots.
