I had a random thought today about doing 7th sea as a sci fi space game. Theah is the name of the sun, and the countries are all planets in the solar system. Sort of a pirate style single system like firefly. You could even build the deeper world elements (barrier, etc) into the game with aliens. Lots to work with and could make for an interesting game.

The main nations could even be moons of a large gas giant with some of the countries, like Cathay, for example, other planets. Again, lots of options to play with.

Interesting but not what I was thinking.

It would require a lot of work, many of the existing Advantages, Skills, and Knacks still work, but a game would need new ones too.

Definitely a lot of work. I'd be willing to contribute to the design, just wouldn't be able to run it.
