Hello, he/she who reads this, this is DeadSlayer54, though I will be checking this occasionally the most efficient means of communicating will be through rmail, so if you'd like the quickest possible response feel free to respond there.

I have found that my phone allows me to store PDFs to my SD card, so I have much more access to rulebooks to adapt to games with making characters. It was then that I read the Tome of Magic, thinking it listed spells and effects etc, and read about the ShadowCaster class. I am very interested in playing this class, but I have been unable to find a game allowing it as of yet.
I was considering making a shadow caster who acts similarly to a rogue, supposing I could get high scores for dex and cha. If this is the case, he'll be mechanically a shadow caster but roleplay and strategize using stealth and using debilitating spells against opponents, if able.
I can generally post every day, and spellcaster wise I generally try to use spells creatively (example there's a cantrip that makes pitch black ink that shines with the light of a dimly lit candle, so before he gains darkvision he'll be using that as a light source probably).
If you know of this class and are interested in having one in your party, please let me know, I really want to give this a try.

I really enjoy the Shadow Caster, but haven't been able to play it much.  It lacks a whole lot of umph and combat potential.
