Greetings,
 I am interested in playing a Fighter type in a D&D or similar system in either Greyhawk or the Forgotten Realms setting. The theme would be a military type campaign where my character is either a soldier, officer, minor noble etc. It could be the Greyhawk Wars, the campaign against the Temple of Elemental evil, or one of the many military campaigns mentioned in the Greyhawk background material. The Forgotten Realms are more than acceptable; I just know more about Greyhawk.

 There could still be the traditional quests/ Dungeon crawls, but it would be for a greater goal against some enemy or enemies. Group or solo is fine by me.

Sounds interesting. I'd like to do that myself sometime but already have a few games going. Both involve fantasy cities under Seige if that counts. One is D&D 5e in the Forgotten Realms. Another is pre-alpha play testing for a Homebrew system that has a similar skeleton to D&D (attributes, skills, feats) but I'd a mix of different genres (sci fi and fantasy, etc.).
