Shadowrun

Having stumbled down the cyberpunk rabbit hole again, I'd like to request a good ol' Shadowrun game. I'm not terribly picky as to the edition, though most of the stuff I have is for the 3rd and 4th editions, so those would be preferred.

As far as game specifics are concerned, I'd like the team of runners to have as much freedom as possible, to pick our jobs or create our own work as we see fit. I personally err on the mundane side of Shadowrun, but I have nothing against working alongside mages or other magic-users.

I'd like to be in Seattle, though other similar cities wouldn't be unwelcome. Not to mention that we may end up spending some time in a "vacation home", should the wrong job go south.

Shadowrun

I'd join if it was a 3e game.

Shadowrun

Out of curiosity - Why 3e over others? I've heard that opinion before, but don't have enough system familiarity to suss out why.

Shadowrun

if someone can help me with creation I'm very interested in playing. I simply don't want to invest in a book I may never use because my irl group is nonexistent and online games fil up so quick it's not worth some 50+ bucks in books for a game I may never play

let me know what happens
I'd run it myself if I could but I am not familiar enough with the rules to do so

I dunno about others, but in my case I just prefer the system. I feel like I have more control over my character.

Re: Shadowrun

Having only played in 4e and 5e, that is what I am familiar with. Some of the people that I gamed with like 3 for the flavor and style, and 4 for the hacking rules (which are still kinda clunky, which scares me). My personal opinion on any editions, for any game, kinda boils down to play what you like, and since I love me some Shadowrun, I'd be down to play in basically any edition of it.

Still looking, and still not particular on edition.

Re: Shadowrun

I have several games of Shadowrun 5e that I am running here. One is looking for additional players.

We have a Rigger, Street Sam, Decker and face. Could use some magical support. But all players are welcome.

Re: Shadowrun

I'm definitely applying to that game, but I'd be happy to take on others as well.
