I would like to play in a game which allows assassin prestige class with less prerequisites.
With the 3.5 rules, you have to reach level 5 before becoming an assassin.
I would like to play with a 2nd level rogue / 1st level assassin.
Prerequisites which can be achieved by level 2 rogue:
- 5 ranks in disguise, 5 ranks in hide, 5 ranks in move silently.
- no kill is necessary before becoming assassin, but you need to kill once per level to advance to next level.
A Political setting with an organization which hires assassins to secretly eliminate its opponents.

It's not that I want to play very evil people.
Some assassins think of themselves as neutral (even though in game terms they have evil alignment).
They think that eliminating certain dangerous people is necessary to ensure the stability of the government, which is good for the great majority of citizens.
So I could imagine a country where the government is secretly backed by an organization which eliminates what it regards as 'enemies of the state'.
The governing people (king, nobles, a powerful guild or chosen politicians) need not even be aware that this organization exists and may not agree with its methods.
The secret organization may be funded by rich people who're afraid of a revolution. They feel safe only if there's a stable government.
Or they may be afraid of the political pressures that other groups in the country may exert on the government.

I've found a GM for a solo game with this idea.
