As per subject. I’d love to play through some old modules or something of that nature. I usually have ended up as GM for whatever group I was with so I’d love a shot at playing through some games as an actual player. I’m game to play solo or in a dedicated group. Does it have to be dnd ruleset? I'm running a game that's going through the old tsr modules from the 80s. But I'm using Cortex rules.

Yeah, I’m hoping for dnd rules as it will not require me learning a new system. Is cortex a clone of the end rules similar to castles and crusades or is it drastically different?

I'm not familiar with Castles & Crusades. Cortex is from Margaret Weis. Some titles that use a version of it include Firefly, Leverage, Smallville, and the late Marvel Heroic. It is quite a bit different than d20 games. It uses a multiple die dice pool mechanic and every roll is opposed by a GM roll. Similar to FATE, but more complex.

if someone runs an ad&d game for you I'd play and I have done like zero mods from the old stuff so I'll always be surprised lol
