I rather enjoy FATE, and would like to play more of it, I do enough D&D that I really don't want another semi-medieval high-magic fantasy setting. I'm also not really interested in a war setting.

Me too! Any kind of FATE. It seems like it has such great potential to be an completely different fun experience.

I'm considering a FATE Core game retconning the later Saints Row video games. I'm writing on it right now, I'll have a full splat book by the end of it. I tried to get some interest and advice over in GPIA, but all I got was advice. If either or both of you are interested, I might work extra hard to crank it out faster.

Yes, I am interested, but have only played about two hours of Saints Row 3, so keep that in mind. I can be your test case for how to present the setting to people with low familiarity of the world and lore.

Pretty much all you need to know about the setting as I intend to run it are the main characters' names (which I'll put in the Notable NPCs section) what most people think happened, and that things after 3 got... really sketchy. There's probably gonna be spoilers in the book once I grind it out. I hope to include enough fictional alterations that people who haven't played won't feel gutpunched by spoilers. Although if they do, I can't force myself to take it personally as old as SR 3 is.
