Anyone out there with the time, energy and creativity to run a Black Crusade game set in a hive world(s), themed around 40k dark oppression of fascist inquisition and ecclesiastical bigotry, corrupt arbites and administratum, powerful corporate lords and debauched aristocracy.
Game set around urban folk distressed, disillusioned or straight driven mad by social repression, fighting back against the regimes. Exploring the grey morality of confronting the bleak authoritarian figures. Seeking power for freedom, driven to hide the dark gods gifts in whatever manner possible...

Goals; Freedom, revenge, redemption (of whatever)?
Bad guys; The law, the Inquisition, hive gangers, merchantile forces.
Hooks; Control of a small area of a hive (Necromunda style), undermining or destroying one of the Imperial factions, gaining the support of powerful patrons (nobility?)

Basically a more thoughtful approach to falling for the dark gods. :)

How true you want this to be to the lore. I love the game but my knowledge comes from the tabletop games so isn't all encompassing and i have no desire to run a game with lore nitpicks  that tell me 'a tech priest would never do that!'

On the other hand i been toying with the idea of running a Necromunda like game where players are from a small underhive settlement carving out a meager existence and the endgoal is becoming lords of the spire (and maybe even the world but my rap sheet says if a game takes off after 2 or 3 years it bleeds out.)

With BC I'd keep the character exp progress continuous, but in small increments, and keep the motivation with the setting and story exploration. This set up was geared towards an oppressive urban claustrophobic feel, I honestly didn't even consider an endgame level. PCs may end up as Apostatic corrupt world governors I guess, then maybe an Inq investigation or RT takeover forces them off track?...
Either way, I like the low-mid level power for getting to grips with the challenges of losing ones soul.

There's plenty of hive worlds that could suit, and I'd be thrilled to see a game founded in rp'ing the dirtier, low-born, scum of a hive with dark patronage.

FFG solved the "techpriests won't do that" thing, if it wasn't so already. Reclaimators, underhive merchants, etc who would come from or live in a hive - (former) faithful of the cult Mechanicus or just plain hereteks - potentially will.

Sounds cool! I have been really wanting to to try out the 40k table top systems. And I would not be be the detail guy let's get the theme close and I am good to go.

If it launches please pm me from the game. Or any games similar that might be established.

Bare bone game is created. Will try to work though setting something up over the week but as early adopters you might like to make thins up with me to build your home town.

I generally go with adult. Not because sex but because the chaos side of things just pushes things over that treshold easily now and then and i am more of  better safe then sorry type of guy here. The adult tag simply limits creativity by the sites rules and nothing else. I wont forbid sex and nudity from happening but any explicit stuff that serves no purpose but cybering has to be taken to a pm among the people included and faded to black in public.

So yeah its a true adult game in the sense anything thats 18+ rated can happen but no cause its not a porn game. Its just that i am more comfortable with that rating for a game that revolves around the machinations of chaos.

No I'd have to agree, it's way safer to call any BC game adult, then filter the really graphic parts to threads for the players who wish to go there. It's not my own gaming goal, but I'd rather not have a heavily censored game either.
