I've been itching for a while to play a Vulcan.  Anyone have any interest in running a Star Trek game?  I'm agnostic as to system, as I've never played any official Trek game, and would be glad to learn something new.  I'd be super happy with something in the prime timeline around the DS9/VOY era, but I could be flexible on that too if some enterprising GM (see what I did there?) had an enthusiastic preference in another direction.

Yeah, there's more than one, but I was hoping to get in on something new.  I'm sure the existing games are great, I've just not ever found myself to be a fan of my experiences joining longstanding games partway through.

Hm. I had a game up a while back -- it was set in Deep Space 4, perched between the Neutral Zone, the Delta Quadrant, and the Typhon Expanse. I think the point in the timeline was right after the end of the Dominion War.

Mechanically, it was the system by Last Unicorn Games (so it was affectionately called 'LUGTrek'). I even took a couple gears from the Dune RPG they made.

My original notes are still here, stuff about the station and what-not. Game mechanics. I'd had a lot of enthusiastic players happily making characters before, but when I officially started the game three-quarters of them stopped responding.

Want me to revive it?

My game has just started. It uses Modiphius's new Star Trek Adventures rpg.

There are already 3 Andorians on the ship.
