Doctor Who
I would love to get in on a Doctor Who game. Companion or Doctor. Official or original. Just as long as it's the Doctor and some companions bouncing around in the TARDIS and going on some adventures.

Doctor Who
So, all the other Doctor Who games have died?

I might consider trying another one, but I'm not sure what people would be interested in.

I think my personal preference would be to have a unique Doctor rather trying to match one of the TV portrayals (I'd be hopelessly dismal at it). Companions should be original, too, but that's not as firm... mostly because I've probably only ever seen about half of them, if even that many. And trying to match them from memory would be impossible.

In reply to StarMaster (msg # 2):

I can only speak for myself, but your preference for a new Doctor and companions would exactly be what would interest me. I love all the official incarnations, but for an RPG, I think custom works better. :-)

I'd be up for a game of DW too.  Very interesting in playing and could possibly be talked into running it if no one else was keen.

Doctor Who
As the new Doctor's appearance quickly approaches, I'm finding myself more and more interested in running/playing in a Doctor Who game.

It seems like a perfect fit for RPoL, since when RL calls away players, it's built into the game that the Companions come and go and the Doctor can regenerate.

Anyway, I put up a board for the game.

Here's the link to another game

I'm surprised (and a bit disappointed) that there hasn't been more interest in this. I may have to actually recruit players.

Doctor Who
For some reason the idea of a Doctor Who West Marches game keeps popping into my head.

Players can be any version of the Doctor, official or new, or any companions they'd like, from the whole history of the show, including the novels, comics, and audio dramas, or create an entirely new one.

Then just let the players self-organize into groups and go on adventures. One Doctor, multiple Doctors, no Doctor...companions, UNIT, Paternoster Gang, whatever. And weirdly enough, because it's Doctor Who, it would still work.

I'd be willing to run the idea in msg #6. Sounds fascinating! :)
