DnD 5E Gestalt tier 1 or base game tier 2-3 play

I'm returning to rpol after a year long hiatus due to moving towns and starting up a new job, and I'm looking to get into a new game.

I've been running a homebrewed gestalt campaign at home and want to get in on the action myself but my players won't run for me, the ingrates!
These are the rules I've used at home if you needed something to get started but don't feel obligated to use them.

I'm hoping one of you lot might come to my aid. If not I'll be trawling for 'basic' 5E games as well.

Ideally a game I would join would have a good balance between the three pillars of play and not be a murder-hobo slaughter-fest, even though those are fun sometimes.
I'd love to run with a party of about 4 or 5 but I'm not adverse to playing with smaller numbers.

I live in Aussie so my posting times might be a little strange to you but I can try to post in the morning before work and then in the afternoon/evening my time each day.

I know that the rules of this forum forbid you to advertise a game not belonging to you so if you know of one please rMail me.

Interesting.  I have never played Gestalt, but realise it is super/over powered.  What is the setting, genre, or style are you after?

This sounds interesting, I’d be happy to be a part of this if it takes off.

Having run these rules for a bit with my home game I have found that the flexibility gives my players more confidence in contributing in social, exploration and puzzle encounters and that in combat encounters all that was needed was to up the difficulty. That last part is a little less straight forward, I had to dial it in over a couple of sessions and quickly realised that I could never throw a solo creature at them, the use of minions and or legendary actions for those BBEGs will be a must.

I like high fantasy, preferably homebrew worlds (although this means a lot more work for a GM in terms of world building) but am also I fan of the Forgotten Realms despite not knowing a lot of it's lore.

I'd like a healthy mixture of social, exploration and combat. Some comedy and some drama with the good old plot twists.

Nothing too gritty or graphic in terms of a sexual nature but I would not be averse to dark or foreboding themes as in Curse of Strahd, although games I've played in that setting have tended to die off very quickly.

Oooh yes, I very much want to play with you again my friend! I 10 out of 10 endorse this guy777 for any GM who wants to pick up this game.

Sounds like we're getting a party together, excellent!

I would love to play in a 5e gestalt, if a GM can be found!
