Interesting. I have never played Gestalt, but realise it is super/over powered. What is the setting, genre, or style are you after?
Having run these rules for a bit with my home game I have found that the flexibility gives my players more confidence in contributing in social, exploration and puzzle encounters and that in combat encounters all that was needed was to up the difficulty. That last part is a little less straight forward, I had to dial it in over a couple of sessions and quickly realised that I could never throw a solo creature at them, the use of minions and or legendary actions for those BBEGs will be a must.
I like high fantasy, preferably homebrew worlds (although this means a lot more work for a GM in terms of world building) but am also I fan of the Forgotten Realms despite not knowing a lot of it's lore.
I'd like a healthy mixture of social, exploration and combat. Some comedy and some drama with the good old plot twists.
Nothing too gritty or graphic in terms of a sexual nature but I would not be averse to dark or foreboding themes as in Curse of Strahd, although games I've played in that setting have tended to die off very quickly.

You're back! I want in!
Oooh yes, I very much want to play with you again my friend! I 10 out of 10 endorse this guy777 for any GM who wants to pick up this game.

This sounds interesting, I’d be happy to be a part of this if it takes off.
Sounds like we're getting a party together, excellent!
